4 star hotel in great location 500 meters south to Ortigia Island 2km to the north to reach the archaeological site park Rich variety of breakfast There is free parking on the side of the road at the entrance. There is an enthusiastic uncle in the shop opposite to tell me how to park better The roadside room is noisy due to the sweeping work in the early morning, but the balcony is great. There are gains and losses, right?

Before we even stayed in the hotel I knew the experience was going to be great - every mail I sent them before the trip was responded to in a timely fashion and super polite. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our room which was lovely. The hotel was quiet and all the staff were very polite and friendly (shout out to Magdy in the restaurant). We had dinner on our first night in the restaurant which was excellent, and breakfast was good too

The hotel is not very far from the city center, 2 minutes from the ancient Roman theater. Breakfast is average. Suite standards are obviously low. The hotel is not very far away from the city center,and it is two minutes walk from the ancient Roman amphitheater. Its breakfast is so so.

We are not inclined to reviews but this was compulsory. We celebrated and celebrated our wedding at the Grand Hotel Villa Polit. The day was inconceivable beyond any desire, the banquet a success. We thank the chef, the kitchen and room staff, the master, the property and the management, but more than for the wonderful event for the kindness and patience of helping us organize it. The customer care and attention are the element that makes the difference for us and Dr. Cannizzaro and Mr. Russian accompanied us step by step with commitment and dedication.Clean and elegant rooms and staff in reception ready to accept the most varied requests. Our stay here was nothing short of excellent! From the comfortable bed, the spa slippers provided, to the mocha pot and fridge, the room was a refuge after exploring Syracuse all day! This is a very elegant hotel with excellent accommodations. The morning brunch had an excellent choices of delicious dishes. The location was excellent and very central. We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to both Syracusa and Otigia. We drove from Catania airport to the hotel, which took around an hour. Even using Sat nav, it was extremely difficult to locate! The hotel is located in a residential area with its car park with almost no places locally to eat or drink. However we did find an extremely Japanese restaurant on our last day. The room we had was very clean and breakfast was also very good. The hotel has almost no atmosphere in the evenings but an honest bar.

Very good location at the same price, very close to the business district and the church square. The rooms are very spacious, very different from those cramped hotel rooms. It is more suitable for the whole family to travel together. The breakfast is very rich, and it is not compliant with a five-star hotel. If the check out is too early, the hotel will prepare a take away breakfast in advance. The only thing to note is that the front desk is not staffed 24 hours a day. If you arrive too late, it is best to greet the hotel in advance.

L'hotel è molto bello, moderno, in zona tranquilla e silenziosa, con piscina esterna e interna (presente idromassaggio e centro benessere) e palestra. La nostra camera era molto più grande delle camere che si trovano solitamente (sembrava una suite!) e anche il letto era extra size. Si dorme da favola e la pulizia è davvero impeccabile. L'unica cosa migliorabile è la colazione: la scelta potrebbe essere più ampia. La struttura è isolata quindi è necessario avere un mezzo proprio per spostarsi. Nel complesso, molto meglio delle attese, più simile ad un 5 stelle che ad un 4.

Il posto è davvero molto carino; abbiamo prenotato una camera tripla, spaziosa, ben arredata e con un piccolo patio privato. La colazione, che abbiamo fatto in un bel giardino in mezzo a piante profumate, è stata abbondante, con brioches, torte, panini dolci, e, volendo, una parte salata (noi ci siamo limitati a quella dolce). La posizione è ottimale, una ventina di minuti a piedi da Ortigia. Alla stessa distanza si trova il parco archeologico. Abbiamo lasciato l'auto in un parcheggio libero vicino al b&b, anche se era agosto non abbiamo avuto problemi, forse nel weekend è più difficile trovare posto. E' presente anche un parcheggio a pagamento poco distante. Gentilissimi i proprietari.

Domus Mariae Benessere is my home at Ortigia since many years. Also this time it was a WONDERFUL holiday. Suor Rosamaria, Cinzia, Davide and all the staff are so gentle, quick, professional and lovely. The location is fantastic, in front at the seaside, in the middle of the old town, in a very beautiful hotel. Thank you Domus Mariae!!!
