We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our Sirince leg of a tour of Turkey. Whilst the hotel is relatively basic, it is full of local charm in a beautiful setting. The best bit of the Gullu is the personalised breakfast you are provided with each morning - a large mix of local mezze that was a unique experience & truly delicious, something I will always remember from this trip. We also had dinner here one night, which was also very nice. The service we experienced from all the staff there was also really friendly. Would recommend to anyone staying in Sirince.

Our 4th visit to Sirince which we love, but first time we have stayed. Picked a winner! 100m from the hustle and bustle of the village, yet serene. Excellent room, service and value. Above excellent charm, ambience, terrace views, breakfast and what we would call our own private “sitooterie”. Only minor gripe was wine prices, which we avoided. Would thoroughly reccomend.

Place is so lovely, can’t recommend enough. The staff is kind and the place is well organized. The gardens are beautiful and the cats always want a scratch. My one regret is not asking if some of their jewelry on display was for sale. Really great pieces.

Comfortable room with lovely views over the valley and mountains Very helpful staff and a delicious breakfast The only drawback was the exorbitant cost of dinner and drinks We had dinner there twice in 3 days. Only single dish dinners, which were of mediocre quality and overpriced.. We had four orange juices, 2 g and t's, and one bottle of wine We did have quite a few single glasses of local house wine, (in litre bottles, which had been open a day or so!) Each glass, we discovered at the end, cost 550 lira per glass ! (More than in London!) This was very expensive stsy, compared to other hotels and to prices elsewhere. Our total bill for the 3 days came to over £700 (14,000 lira!) Do make sure you check the costs before buying anything.. The whole episode left us with a nasty feeling when we left We would not return but hope they might reflect on their pricing..

I wish we had at least one more night to spend here. Gullu Konaklari is very charming surrounded by a lovely garden. The porter lugged my 25kg suitcase all the way up some stairs to our room (next time I'm bringing a smaller suitcase!) and they upgraded us to a bigger room. The staff in general was very friendly. The room was clean and overlooked the garden. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. And there was the cutest little cat family in the garden! GK is close to all the stalls and restaurants but was quiet at night. Highly recommend if you're in the area or need a place to stay before/after seeing Ephesus.

I had a wonderful and peaceful stay for two nights. I love my room with the deco and the view of the mountains. I loved the breakfast with the huge choices of Turkish delight. The staff was really helpful and the management helped me to sort out the situation I had. Thank you so much from Marina Martinez

Many would consider this old style hotel (four rooms in an old house) to be charming. My wife did. I did not like it at all. First, the plugs. The bedroom had two plugs in corners of the room in the baseboards. Not so charming. There were more usable plugs in the bathroom, but I had to clear a small shelf in the bathroom to put a laptop near a plug. A ten dollar power strip would have solved the plug problem here. Second, we got real room keys, but only one set so my wife and I could not easily go in different direction. The key fob had two similar keys (one for the room and probably one for the never locked front door to the house). The keys had no markings to distinguish them. So our neighbors came home late and fiddled noisily with the keys for several minutes. Then there was the noise. The "charming" bedroom had no carpet so we could hear every footstep of our upstairs neighbor. Fourth, it took about three minutes for hot water to appear once you turned on the tap or shower. Maybe longer, actually. Fifth, wifi security was several years out of date, and the wifi only worked some of the time. There was a single luggage rack, and the only place to put it was in front of the door that you had to open to reach the refrigerator. Breakfast wasn't served until 8:30. Finally, there are stone stairs you have to climb to get to your room. Not all of the outdoor passages had lights at night. And weirdly, on one of the steps, there was a two inch diameter root running across the step. This is a lawsuit just waiting the happen. Not everything was awful. There was a separate tub and shower. The breakfast was good. And weirdly, there was nine (!) bottles of toiletries in the bathroom. I didn't get the point of that.

The best place to stay when you are in Sirince. The quaint place has a beautiful historical ground, beautiful gardens. Most importantly, the staff is warm and the food is a must-do. The breakfast is magnificent and their dinners are beautifully made- all made by heart. All their ingredients are from their estate/farm.

Upmarket Boutique Hotel located in the picturesque hillside village of Sirence. A perfect short stay in the winter to relax and drink wine by the fireside. Excellent food prepared and sourced locally from the hotels own farm. Very conveniently located at the end of the main high street. Quiet, comfortable and clean hotel with private garden terraces and orchards. Highly recommended for the discerning traveller.

My wife and i stayed here for two nights in May and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sirince is a cute little town but can be overrun with tourists until about 4:00, but you'd never know it if you stayed here. Rooms are very comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. Best of all was the staff. Murat the manager was a delight, and he took great care to make sure our stay was perfect! On the last day I made a mistake on a tour payment and he arranged for a driver to take us into the local town to withdraw lira from an ATM. I would love to stay here again!

What a beautiful and peaceful resort surrounded by roses and hydrangeas! The spectacular stone buildings On the terraced property, with rosemary and lavender plants, looks like a Mediterranean landscape. So many niches and terraces to enjoy the delicious local wine before heading to dinner. The hotel manager,Mustafa, made sure our stay was outstanding. The delicious breakfast was set in the most beautifully decorated room. Rumor has it Oprah stayed here when visiting Ephesus!!

Beautiful inn in Sirince. We loved the beautiful grounds - so many spots to sit and enjoy the quiet, flowers everywhere, even a rose garden! Our room was upgraded without charge, and it was very clean and spacious. It included a small terrace with spectacular views of the hills surrounding Sirince. My favorite part of this inn was that you were right within the little town and felt like part of the community. The staff was incredible and were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. They recommended an English-speaking tour guide who took us to Ephesus, and she was excellent. This was a great spot to stay to enjoy Ephesus and the local area.
