Rethymno Mare Royal & Water Park

Bad place to be on vacation, poor quality and repeated food, very bad low quality alcohol, dirty rooms and poor hygiene, I do not recommend it, there are better places in Crete paying less and with better quality of drinks and food

Superb establishment, we had a great stay. The staff is very helpful, kind and smiling, it is a very nice hotel, clean, well organized. There are several swimming pools for adults and children, a sandy beach 50m away. Several bars, 2 restaurants..... the rooms are spacious and clean. We will come back !

Właśnie wróciłem z tygodniowego pobytu w tym hotelu i muszę powiedzieć, że jest to bardzo przyjemny hotel. Jechałem z pewnymi obawami ponieważ naczytałem się wcześniej dużo niepochlebnych opinii z tego roku o tym hotelu i uważam, że są krzywdzące. Hotel ma grecką kategorię A czyli odpowiednik naszych 5 gwiazdek- tutaj trochę zawyżona- ja bym mu dał 4 gwiazdki. Przede wszystkim jest to hotel rodzinny- sporych rozmiarów, jednak nie jak jakiś moloch. Hotel leży w małej miejscowości Skaleta- 11 km od Rethymonu( około 30 minut autobusem 1,60 w jedną stronę lub 20 minut samochodem). Hotel położony jest kaskadowo -tak więc nie jest to hotel dla osób mający problemy z chodzeniem. Posiada własną plażę(jakieś 100m) z darmowymi parasolami i ręcznikami, jest także bar przy plaży czynny 10-18, w którym pracuje przesympatyczna pani Maria- robi różne napoje i drinki w ramach all inclusive. W hotelu są 2 główne baseny: jeden na dole przy głównej restauracji oraz drugi na samej górze, tu jest też jeszcze jeden basen ze zjeżdżalniami(czynny w określonych godzinach). Tu też są 2 bary serwujące napoje i przekąski w ramach all inclusive. Jedzenie podawane jest w restauracji głównej, spory wybór posiłków. Codziennie jest ryba, kurczak, dania z grilla, pizza , makarony, duży wybór sałatek, zupa, sporo świeżych owoców. W tej restauracji pracuje miła pani Iza z Polski- zawsze można się coś dopytać. Wieczorem czynny jest bar na piętrze gdzie bardzo dobre napoje serwują Christof i Giannis -którzy bardzo mili i uczynni. Jeśli chodzi o pokoje - to miałem bardzo fajny pokój z czołowym widokiem na morze i dużym tarasem(743). W pokoju na powitanie owoce i butelka wody. Sejf płatny 3 euro za dzień. Pokój codziennie sprzątany, wymieniane ręczniki i dorzucane żele pod prysznic. Czy poleciłbym ten hotel- to myślę, że tak tylko warto poszukać dobrą ofertę- bo ja taka znalazłem. Oprócz tego warto pożyczyć samochód, ja pożyczyłem na cały tydzień, ponieważ rezerwowałem hotel bez pakietu. Hotel leży bardziej na zachód wyspy- to polecam odwiedzić takie miejsca jak: Rethymnon, Chanię, Balos, Seita Limani, Moni Preweli.

The rooms are very good, as is the complex. However, the entertainment should be left aside. (Ahmed the head of entertainment should not be there, his only goal being to make women smile……..) Fortunately Areti (the massage woman), Giannis (the waiter at the reception bar) and that the girl who does the sports entertainment was there to raise the level and save this stay (+ 10 for these 3 top people!) I would not come back again and I would not recommend this hotel because of the entertainment manager. Sincerely

The welcome is extremely warm. High quality hotel. Fresh, varied and delicious culinary preparations. Super welcoming and very friendly room manager. Housekeeper very smiling, courageous and always attentive to our needs. In summary, all the staff are very attentive to customer needs. I highly recommend this hotel!

Apart from a great entertainment team (especially Ahmed and Daniela) and the butlers, the rest is not at all worth a five star... many stairs, queue for the only restaurant, not a real all-in for the drinks, poor room cleaning, a big lack of staff to satisfy customers, no real bar in the evening in terms of entertainment

My friend and I each benefited from 80 minute massages: FABULOUS! Very friendly, pleasant and professional welcome by the Manager Areti, adorable, attentive and available, and exceptional massages, by Elissabet and another masseuse who did my partner's last massage but whose first name I unfortunately do not have …and we are experts (Thailand, Bali,…): intensity on demand and according to what our bodies needed. We actually went back there during our stay. Thanks again to the whole team, we highly recommend you! :-D
