Amalia Apartments

As others have said,great on most fronts but a little daunting when the coach transfer with Jet2 drops you off and you start walking along side the Mandraki Hotel There are no signs for Amalia until you get there follow the signs for Myrtis Summer Village It’s about 500 metres to walk The other grip was the bag transfer which is done separately,the bags were filthy and arrive in a truck Why Jet2 couldn’t put a smaller coach or mini bus on

Excellent apartments, close to the beach (10 minute walk) bar is very cheap and has sky sports. George and the staff are very friendly. No restaurant on site but hotel next door is very welcoming and has great food. Would thoroughly recommend for value.

We had a fantastic time at Amalia. Lovely peaceful location and not far from the amazing beaches and good choice of restaurants and supermarkets. George's bar is friendly and STILL the cheapest on the island. They work really hard and make everybody feel very welcome. Rooms are clean and have mozzy screens. Pool is great . Very relaxed atmosphere all round. There is Skysports on a big screen also if that's what you're looking for.

Amalia apartments is a wonderful place to stay , the 3 brothers were extremely welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay . George was helpful if we needed anything . The apartments are situated in beautiful gardens with a lovely pool and comfy sun beds. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels daily . There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The hotel next door does fantastic local dishes which you can use . We would definitely come back 😊

We stayed here in may as well .You have a warm welcome nothing is a problem. The rooms are cleaned very well every day. Sheets are change every few day and clean towels. The pool and outside garden are kept very well . We are returning customer after 12 yrs .

This is a perfect place to stay! A warm and friendly welcome from all staff who were fantastic with us throughout our holiday. Short walk to local restaurants, lovely beaches and supermarket. The best bit is, they have the cheapest beer on the island and sky sports! We will definitely be back guys! Jack & Jodie

This was our first visit to Amalia Apartments although we have stayed in Koukounaries many times before, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a wonderful welcome from Otis and George and felt at home immediately. The garden around the apartment was well tended and full of shady trees. The walk from the hotel to the main road was lovely as it too was shaded by trees. We enjoyed being around the pool which was generally quiet and relaxing. The apartments are very well equipped and comfortable. There are lots of plug sockets which was brilliant, including next to the beds and by the little dressing table. The beds were comfy and the shower worked well. The apartments are in a fabulous location with plenty of beaches within walking distance, plus bars, tavernas and supermarkets. The apartments are close to the bus route and just ten minutes walk from the water taxi into Skiathos Town. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are already planning to return. Had a wonderful time here with my friend, we found it a nice walk to some amazing beaches , the supermarket close by had everything we were looking for , facilities in the apartment were ample , a massive plus were the mosquito screens fitted to the balcony doors , , also a fan in the room , so we found we had no need for air con at all . All round very enjoyable holiday from arriving to our last evening ,

A hidden gem of a place! We had such a lovely week at these family run apartments. Very friendly and so many amazing tavernas in walking distance. Rooms are basic but had everything we needed. Definitely hoping to go back again next year but will be staying longer than one week.
