What can we say more than everyone already mentioned, it is with one word great. We asked if Alma could make a small diner, because we arrived later in the evening. With 2 Hours delay, we arrived at 21.15 and Alma served the great food she made. We hope that this location and Host last for a long time, because we will be back there.

All the reviews about this amazing Villa are true. Stunning location - tick. Superb food (breakfast and a special meal) - tick. Fabulous rooms - tick. Super super host - tick. I could go on, but needless to say this little piece of Paradise does exist in Slano. From start to finish we had such a great time. Alma is the perfect host and will make your stay an unforgettable experience. She is full of ideas for things to do. As well as arranging our airport transfer, she cooked a super tasty meal for our first night, offered a different breakfast every morning and is there when you need her. Slano is a lovely quiet place to visit and for us, it was a truly memorable holiday. Thank you Alma and Villa Almadria.

The memories of our previous stay has lingered in our mind for many years, and it was great to experience Villa Almadria once again and this time with family. Thank you so much, Alma for your hospitality, help and for letting us stay in your beatuiful home - you are the perfect host. And now you have three new fans who have experienced it! Was soll man sagen….hier stimmt einfach alles! Das wundervolle Haus direkt am Wasser gelegen ist wirklich ein Traum. Schon beim Ankommen fühlt man sich direkt sehr wohl, was auch der besonders liebevollen Art von Alma geschuldet ist. Alma trägt einfach ganz entschieden dazu bei, dass es eine wunderschöne Zeit wird. Ihre herzliche Art und Weise sowie Hilfsbereitschaft in allen Belangen ist unübertreffbar. Ob es um Ausflüge geht oder z.B persönliche Transfers - Alma hilft sofort! Auch haben wir noch nie so gut geschlafen im Urlaub, hier merkt man die gute Qualität der Betten. Die Zimmer sind schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, der Ausblick vom Balkon auch ganz fantastisch. Das tolle zubereitete Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer sucht seinesgleichen und ist der perfekte Start in den Tag. Kostenlos zur Verfügung stehen Fahrräder, Standup Paddel Board und sogar Angeln. Am Wasser stehen 4 Liegen mit Sonnenschirm. Dort kann man einfach wunderbar relaxen und im glasklaren Wasser baden und den Tag in vollen Zügen genießen, evtl. mit einem leckeren Cocktail von Alma gezaubert 😉 Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit in der Villa Almadria und kommen gerne wieder. We stayed at Villa Almadria for three nights and it was the highlight of our trip. The villa is beautiful, filled with art, and has a magnificent terrace overlooking the water. Alma, the owner, has done an incredible job opening up this villa as a very unique lodging experience. Alma is there to help with anything you need, and is also an absolutely magnificent chef. Slano is a 45 minute bus or taxi ride away from Dubrovnik, which means that is much more peaceful and quiet. We felt lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here. Highly recommended.

Situated away from the tourist crowds but still an ideal location for day trips to some of Croatia's greatest summer destinations. The property is lush and full of life with a charming blend of Mediterranean and California style. Alma's attention to detail and gracious hospitality was no less than exemplary. Each room opened to a balcony (two rooms per balcony) facing south on the bay so you can wake to the sun coming over the hilltops above the village and watch it dip behind the hilltop at the the mouth of the bay. There are several outdoor common spaces around the property situated so being outdoor at any time of the day was enjoyable. The breakfast spread was presented every morning under a canopy with breathtaking views of the bay below. Alma prepares breakfast dishes to order but we chose to let her surprise us with local dishes and some of her favorite recipes. We were very happy with that decision. Alma has extensive knowledge of the region and was able to recommend some great excursions as well as provide historical background of the area. Our favorite excursion was the evening oyster picking tour in Mali Ston with Mario and his son Ante. If you are looking for a local immersion experience, they will endear your hearts as they did ours. The all you can eat oysters plucked fresh from the sea was just a bonus. Our time in Slano will always be happy memories. We look forward to a return trip and some time with our new friend Alma.
