Hyatt Regency Suites Atlanta Northwest

Although this hotel is in a very safe area, the rooms are very run down. It is so old that we wouldn't take our shoes off in the room because the carpet was just ick. The lampshades were torn, missing handles on the doors separating the living area from the bedroom, old furniture with stains all over it. The room is the largest I have ever been in, but the condition of the rooms and condition of the parking lot makes it not worth it at all. The room was clean, but the restaurant was not, even though we were the only guests there for dinner. We found the bedding to also be very uncomfortable. The pillows were like bricks and when we stopped in at the front to get some blankets since the bedding was so thin, the blankets were thin and stiff.

This time it was arranged to be underground and there was no elevator. It was a bit inconvenient to carry the suitcase down the stairs by myself. The breakfast was the breakfast of a normal American hotel. There were not many varieties and the room was OK.

The front desk greeted me nicely. It was a nice man with glasses. it was a smooth check in. The room wasn't that bad as i had only stayed for 2 nights. The nice young lady housekeeper was nice enough to provide me clean towels when i asked for them. i think she said her name is Kim. All in all, it was a good experience. i was able to walk to Truist Park and back with no problems.

Horrible horrible experience and that was just trying to deal with getting a single nights stay after driving for hours and desperately needed a nights sleep! Rude employees from two different locations within this tiny area of multiple extended stays! Got told that “it should not have booked me a room online because they had none” not one time did I get an apology or the tiniest bit of concern or better explanation at all. So we just had to leave and figure out something else! Now here’s the best part: I still got charged for the stay and I can’t get in touch with anyone that will even attempt to deal with it for me!! I am just appalled at how downright rude people can be yet work in the customer service industry…I totally can relate and get it when someone is having a rough day, or hell rough year but why in the world take anything out on innocent people that literally are being as polite as they can be with you and have done nothing wrong. I’m trying my best to stay positive and not let this experience ruin the whole brand/company for me but I am pretty much ready to spread the word to anyone and everyone that will listen on all of my social network pages, my friends and family and even strangers on the street! The fact that I had to deal with such an uncomfortable/rude experience from not one but two different people at separate locations within miles of each other is just crazy if you ask me….and definitely not somewhere I ever would consider staying again if that’s how they treat potential customers.

Even hotels in the United States are thousands of stores and thousands of noodles. First of all, this one is not within the airport, there must be a car, no traffic jam for half an hour. Breakfast, the rooms are quite satisfactory, there is a car to go shopping, eating is within 10 minutes.

There are a few decent people on the staff, Desmond, Lonnie, and Ms.Vivian to name a few however, there has been a recent staff turnover where a lot of the wrong people left and vice versa. The new manager is absolutely rude and disrespectful. After a fire occurred on the property recently, I witnessed her be very rude to a guest for simply asking ”when the hot water would be restored?” Really? No hot water for 2 days and you get an attitude because someone asks you a simple question? No respect or decency. They have a small problem with bugs on the property and will insist on entering your room and spraying an absolutely horrific smelling spray all over the 'inside' of your room. I've never heard of such a thing. A mouse found it's way into my room somehow. I could go on and on about this place. There are better options nearby.
