It was a very cozy small hotel with lots of personal service by the owner. She was at reception, personally serving food to us. The food was so good. We had dinner & breakfast included. Location just opposite the Lake Toya facing the center of Nakajima island.

It’s a guest house located next to Lake Toya, but away from the crowd and the hot spots of the lake. The dinner and breakfast are of good choice, well cooked by their local people. We highly recommend it to people of limited budget but expecting good value.

It’s a very good location with a view of the lake and the fireworks on the lake at night. It has a large parking lot and is surrounded by green shops. The lawn, the breakfast room with a wide view and a good view, and the warm and considerate old lady of the house and her children and grandchildren took good care of us, provided high-quality breakfast and introduced good local restaurants, making us feel like we were at home. The lockers at JR Hakodate Station were all full, so I had to drag my luggage onto the bus and store it at the tourist information office in Toyako Onsen Street. Quiet location with ample parking. Beautiful view of the lake. Friendly family guesthouse where we received a warm welcome. The employees/family do their utmost to communicate in English. Enjoyed a very extensive and varied evening meal. Charming little onsen, very clean with hot spring water.

Charming welcome, smiling from the owner even with the language barrier. Took half board...what a treat! Everything is prepared by the chef with fresh vegetables from the garden and it's really delicious and plentiful. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the center of Toya Onsen, a sidewalk for pedestrians runs along the road for the entire route. There is a bus stop right in front of the guesthouse either to go to Toya Onsen or to Date JR station or Higashi-Muroran JR station. A taxi from Toya JR station costs just over 20 euros, 20 minutes ride. There is a "convenience store" right next to the hotel. Really a hotel to recommend on this beautiful Lake Toya, moreover the prices are more than fair for the quality of the services.
