The room cleaning could be better, especially the bathroom was renovated from top to bottom, in fact the bathroom was renovated but not well maintained. There were deficiencies such as towels, slippers etc. We stop by the hotel on our way back from Germany to Turkey, we stayed in different rooms to rest, the beds in all the rooms were terrible, as if you were sleeping on iron. The beds should be renewed urgently!!

We were two couples. One in a classic room and one in an Executive room.
Always book an Executive room. It is a typical business hotel room, while the classic room needs urgent attention and looks more like a guesthouse. In the Executive room the toilet was poorly cleaned on arrival and remained so throughout the stay (3 nights). Something unthinkable anywhere else.
The receptionist was friendly despite his poor English, although he gave us the wrong room, he realised when we got to the lift.
Breakfast was good. Maybe not what was expected for a 4 star hotel but there was variety including some typical dishes.
Complimentary water but only on the first day.
Views of a police station, and very close to the Governor's Office and the centre of Sofia on an easy and safe path.
No noise despite the ******.
The water in the pool was said to be at 29 degrees. But no. It was FREEZING.
Overall a good experience for the couple in the Executive room.

The room is OK. There are small supermarkets around. There is a ** on the first floor of the hotel. There is a local special restaurant 400 meters away from the hotel. You can try it. It's very good.
