We were two couples. One in a classic room and one in an Executive room. Always book an Executive room. It is a typical business hotel room, while the classic room needs urgent attention and looks more like a guesthouse. In the Executive room the toilet was poorly cleaned on arrival and remained so throughout the stay (3 nights). Something unthinkable anywhere else. The receptionist was friendly despite his poor English, although he gave us the wrong room he realised when we got to the lift. Breakfast was good. Maybe not what was expected for a 4 star hotel but there was variety including some typical dishes. Complimentary water but only on the first day. Views of a police station, and very close to the Governor's Office and the centre of Sofia on an easy and safe path. No noise despite the casino. The water in the pool was said to be at 29 degrees. But no. It was FREEZING. Overall a good experience for the couple in the Executive room.

The hotel facilities are relatively old, but fully equipped with a bar, casino, etc. It is very close to the central station.

The location is nice, the breakfast is good, the rooms are very old and not cleaned well.

The room is OK. There are small supermarkets around. There is a casino on the first floor of the hotel. There is a local special restaurant 400 meters away from the hotel. You can try it. It is very good.

Everything was fine except the carpet in the room. It's high time to change it. Breakfast is excellent, location is close to the railway station and the central bus station.

The room is big, but the decoration is a bit old. The scenery outside the window is very good. When you open the window, you can see the majestic snow-capped mountains opposite. The surrounding environment is also very quiet. Overall, it is good.

The room was clean and the service was very good. The bellman was very enthusiastic to help with the luggage. The next day, he helped a colleague drive to the underground garage to load the luggage. The hotel's supporting facilities are very complete.

The view is average, the room is tidy, and there is no smell. It was recommended by a colleague. I went to try it out. The facilities are quite complete, but there are no slippers. It is said to be an environmental protection requirement.

Shower and cleanliness to be reviewed

I guess they don't care that much because it's a casino hotel, the room materials are old but spotlessly clean.

Not a hotel worth the price
