Family-friendly Hotels in Solan

We had a wonderful stay, all the restaurant staff, chefs and hotel staff were so understanding and caring. Food selection, quality and taste was of next level. Big big thanks to all as follows: Chef Shivraj 👌🏻 is really great chef who understands our taste and needs in order to rate our stay for seven ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and without Chef Naveen and Chef sanjay that would not be possible. Big thanks to Abhimanyu 👌🏻 , he made our stay Awesome and memorable by understanding our needs for making our celebrations wonderful. Restaurant staffs Mukesh, Niranjan, Vineet, Hemant, Vikram and Satish were so good in serving our needs during all meals. Rashi, Rakesh and Nitika entertain us with great activities throughout our stay.👏🏻

Resort is beautiful and quality of service and food is quite good. My family enjoyed the stay. Excellent play area to keep kids happy. My child enjoyed the trampoline jumps. Staff is polite and helpful. Only critical issue: in-room tv set-top box was not working. This is not acceptable as t20 world cup is on-going. It could not be fixed even after repeated complaints. And watching matches on projector (without sound) in common area is not a good experience. These basic things must be resolved promptly. Another issue: springs in bed mattress would make too much noise even during small movements, disturbing sleep. Caution point: accessibility to the resort is poor. Last 1. 5km road is very narrow and mostly unpaved. Need to be cautious while planning trips particularly in monsoon season. Also, it's quite far from kasauli town (about 30min drive one side, so if multiple site seeing is planned, this resort may not be the best location to stay.

We planned a brief holiday to celebrate my wife’s birthday and I am truly grateful to the team at Moksha resort for pampering us. I can rate this place as one of the best I have visited. I am totally impressed by their hospitality. The ropeway to the resort felt safe and is well maintained. Once at the resort you have golf carts in plenty to transport you. The rooms are amazingly done and was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The restaurant staff is very cordial and gives you a very personalised touch. Mr.Ghanshyam, Mr.Anuj were very helpful. Chef Mr.Pritam was always present to cater to our food needs. The food was delicious. Komal and Ritik at the front desk were also prompt in assuring us with our needs.Also do visit the Italian resturant located approximately 100 metres from the property. They serve the best pizzas in the town. The best part of the property is their infinity pool and jacuzzi which is temperature regulated. We spent the evenings in the pool/jacuzzi overlooking the town of Parwanoo. Time at the pool/jacuzzi during the sunset was magical since the shades of sky are mesmerising and the town below lights up. A beautiful experience in an equally lovely resort.

We (my wife, 9 year old son and I) stayed here from 24.03.2023 to 27.03.2023. Booked this place after seeing reviews and photos online. Fantastic place to stay if you want a peaceful and quiet holiday with great views. Location: This resort was located about 4 to 5 Kms. from the main Kasauli market/ Mall Road, which was its biggest advantage. The mountains were clearly visible from the hotel and it was really quiet and peaceful. Room: We took a superior deluxe room with breakfast included. The room was so spacious and really made the experience great. They had a sofa-cum-bed in addition to a king size bed. The views from the balcony were lovely and were a highlight of the trip for me. Food: The menu had so many options and the food quality was fantastic. We preferred to eat dinner at the hotel since the food quality was so good. The restaurant also had great views and there was sitting space outdoors too for watching the mountains while having your meals. Service/ Staff: Great service and staff. I didn't have a single complaint on the quality of service. Friendly staff, polite, helpful and always cheerful. Mr. Ganesh at the reception was really helpful and gave some good suggestions for sigh seeing. Children's Play Area: The children's play area was also good with slides, swings and other stuff. They had a larger play area and a smaller play area for kids. Other Activities: There was a pool table, table tennis and carrom, which was also a good way to spend time while in the hotel. The resort also organised Karaoke nights and bonfires in the evenings, which was fun. They also have a large party/conference/ meeting room so if you want to have some parties/ conferences etc. this is a great place. Overall I would highly recommend this Resort if you plan to visit Kasauli and want a nice relaxed holiday with beautiful views and great service.

Breakfast was a big disappointment. The property was really nice and the staff was friendly cooperative and professional. But the breakfast spread was very limited and seemed stale, not fresh ! mmt charges us separately for the breakfast so to get such limited buffet and that too stale, it was not worth at all. I just end up having half fry egg and bread. That is it. Coffee we ordered in our room also was not good
