Outstanding service and luxury. The owners personally received and welcomed us. It was the most comfortable stay and bed in the whole time we were in South Africa. The electric blanket on the bed was a welcome touch and they are set up with back-up power and do not have power cuts. Highly recommended stay in Somerset and surrounds.

Best questhouse ever ! Big luxe appartment Very good long kingsize bed , 2 toilets airco , big terrasse with sunbeds Very good breakfast with a lot of frehs fruit / bread eggs eveything you want . Verry save ! A lot of good advises from the very nice kindfull Johan and Jo-anne Good location!very clean! Do it and you will enjoy it really

Wir hatten hier zwei wunderbare Tage und sehr viel Platz im Zimmer. Wir haben es genossen, auf der Terrasse im Garten zu sitzen nach einem anstrengenden Tag in der Stadt. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und ordentlich und es fehlte uns an nichts. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und der Obstteller legendär. Johann und Jo-Ann sind sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, wir haben die Unterhaltung mit ihnen sehr genossen.

We spent three nice days at Blaauwheim Guest House. The hosts, Jo-Anne and Johan, are warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired: from delicious egg dishes and freshly baked baguettes to French croissants and their signature dish – a beautifully arranged exotic fruit platter – everything is prepared with care and attention to detail. The rooms are of high quality, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The beautifully maintained garden adds to the charm of the property. A special highlight was the nighttime chameleon tour in the garden, where, with a trained eye, you can spot these fascinating creatures – a truly unique experience! The neighborhood is safe and picturesque. An all-around perfect stay – highly recommended!

The place is beautiful with spacious bedrooms. Their bathroom is very clean as well. I loved seeing all the greenery outside, I would definitely go again. The hosts are also friendly. I would have loved to spend more time there so I’ll definitely look into booking again so I can experience it fully.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich rundherum wohl zu fühlen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß, der Garten wunderschön und das Frühstück auf der großen Terrasse zusammen mit anderen Gästen und den Inhabern war sehr gemütlich und unterhaltsam. Das Essen selbst ist frisch zubereitet und es gibt einen kunstvoll geschmückten reichhaltigen Obstteller für jeden Gast. Ein liebevoller Lichtblick auf meinem Roadtrip, Ich komme bald wieder.

Perfect cozy place where you are welcomed like in a family. Very nice and hospital couple. Amazing breakfasts with a pleasant discussions with owners over a coffee! Clean ond comfortable rooms. Suits are also worth to explore with own kitchenet in case a longer stay. Definetely worth to stay!

Fantastic guesthouse! The perfect stay in all ways. Welcoming hosts, beautiful room, lovely garden, delicious food and and and. Wifi, water and electricity sorted! Our one night stay was too short, will definitely be back. This guesthouse comes highly recommended for business travel or a family get away.
