We spent two quiet, end of Advent days in December 2022, and overall I was absolutely delighted that Hotel Sopron became one of our eternal choices with my partner - we were welcomed by the very nice hotel "staff", the Premium View room we chose for two nights was comfortable, the spa area was very pleasant to use during our stay, and the half-board dinner and breakfast were very hearty and varied. We will definitely return to Hotel Sopron. Két csendes, adventvégi napot töltöttünk 2022 decemberében, összességében teljesen örültem, hogy a Hotel Sopron lett az egyik örök választásunk a Párommal - nagyon kedves szállodai "személyzet" fogadott minket, kényelmes volt a két éjszakára választott Premium View szoba, nagyon kellemes volt a pihenés alkalmával használt wellness-részleg is, illetve a félpanzióban foglalt vacsora és reggeli is kifejezetten kiadós és sokszínű volt. Biztos, hogy még visszatérünk a Hotel Sopronba.

It was a very nice experience there. We’ve been already there several times. Our favourite place in Hungary this city. The hotel is renewed. The cousine was good withe delicious food. The staff is friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant.

Room design outdated and rooms were not so comfortable, bathroom smelled funny, breakfast is ok. Rooms were clean but really small. It is ok to stay for a night. I would not recommend rooms on the third floor. Last year we stayed here, but our experience was very different on the 1st floor.

Stayed in 3 nights, we liked both restaurant and staff but we payed spa and got key to spa, but could use it once and no one warned, that we must beg for it every day. By the way spa closed the only pool after first day (written in elevator). The room got coffee machine, board with price of usage, but filled only for once, new cream, clean glasses, but no coffee for other days. Why it got just average from us.

Before booking make sure there is no event at the Hotel. They did not mention prior to booking, not even on the Hotels website. Music was super loud so We end up going home with little sleep. They offered a quieter room but 2 separate beds. Is not ideal for a romantic weekend. Disappointing. The Hotel did not want to compensate for the inconvenience. Spa area small. The infra cabin worked only for 5 min. Breakfast was OK. Rooms are Oke size but the pillows are flattened out. Bit of wear and tear.

Great hotel (with a typical 80s look) on the outskirts of Sopron, but with all the places to visit in this interesting town within walking distance. We had a family room, which was 2 full rooms next to each other, with a connecting door. Ideal. The employees seemed a bit stiff at first, but turned out to be very friendly (at least those who spoke a language other than Hungarian). The breakfast was excellent, with the pancake machine as a bonus. Another big plus was the lovely swimming pool. A minor setback were the parking costs (although not high) that had to be paid on top of the booking price. For the rest.....Super!

Bel hotel bella posizione panoramica, piscina esterna ed interna, situato in pieno centro. Colazione e cena a buffet con molta scelta tra piatti tipici e internazionali. Belle camere pulite spaziose. Personale disponibile e cordiale.
