We spent just one night in the hotel to relax and unplug for a bit and the result was as hoped...large and very comfortable room, well finished and warm, the staff was helpful and professional, satisfying our few requests...we will perhaps return taking advantage of the spa service which unfortunately was not available because I did not book in time and perhaps eating in the structure since it was closed during our overnight stay

Terrain is steep but we managed it! Could not fault the resort or the staff - all were excellent. In the room perhaps folding dining chairs and 2 more comfortable chairs would have been appreciated. The town itself is characterful and buzzing.

Nice rooms and amenities plus a reservation in the private hot tub at the end of the day is great. The restaurant serves excellent food and is right there in the private courtyard.

The property is beautiful, staff are wonderful. Best to arrive during the day to find the resort and parking. Buy groceries instead of going to breakfast, it was expensive and nothing worthy of the cost. I will definitely be back!!

Will plan to be back next year! Excellent location to start & end your vacation. Easy journey from Rome to Orte by train. Bus from Orte to Soriano nel Cimino. Bus to Viterbo to rent car. Lots of small towns to visit close by in Lazio & Tuscany. Nice location to relax between car or train trips to surrounding towns.

We are HGV owners so we stayed at this property with our points. It is a small town with a lot of hills. We enjoyed the peaceful nature of the area and staying here gave us time to be part of the locals. It definitely is a place I would like to return to

This was our 4th visit and first since 2018 but every bit as enjoyable. The restaurant although now under new leadership was excellent and the location is ideal for exploring both the town itself and the surrounding areas. Location really needs a car to appreciate.

Good location, although you need to be quite fit to reach the property as it is at the top of a steep climb. The 2 bedroom apartment was quite spacious, but was dark and you needed to have the light on all the time, as there was only one window letting in a limited amount of light. The kitchen was small and you had to tilt the fridge to open one of the cupboard doors. It would have been nice if there had been a balcony to sit out on. The food in the restaurant was disappointing; quite expensive for what you got and a few of the meals were served with baked chips, which turn out to be crisps. There is no drinks menu, only one beer and only 2 red wines sold by the glass, and only a small glass of wine offered. The staff in Reception were very helpful and helped with local transport timetables and tickets. The sauna and hot tub area is lovely, but you need to book well in advance to use it. The top garden has excellent views of the castle, but is small and after one day was closed for relandscaping.

we had a perfect week staying at the resort in Soriano this May. Such a beautiful town. we had a rental car so visited all the recommended sites over the week in what may be the most beautiful countryside that we have ever visited.
