Service was excellent. Cabin and location was great. Ben and his staff are awesome! Ben was very helpful giving us fly fishing tips and pointing us to the best places to fish. Everyone has a great time. The only downside was the trip was too short. We wish we could have stayed longer and fished more.

We just returned from spending two nights at "The Cottage". My husband and I went with another couple. The cottage was perfect for our winter get-away. Each couple had our own bedroom and private bath, as well as a private screened in porch off of the bedroom. The view of the river was beautiful. There was also a larger deck off of the kitchen. The large kitchen area was a great place to gather and visit, play cards and games, and share meals. We had everything we needed and the cottage was clean. Both Grayling and Roscommon were a short drive away there were great restaurant options. We hiked at North Higgins Lake State Park. We visited Cross County Ski HQ and went snowshoeing which was nice, although we prefer the XC Ski trails - it's a great place!

My wife and I stayed here for one night. These cabins are little off the beaten trail. If you like being at a place with only a couple of the people you will be happy. Our cabin was clean. The views of the stars at night was great.

Our family group of 16 just spent 3 wonderful days at this resort. We rented the main lodge and two cabins. The accommodations were great! It was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen, huge porch for all times of day as well as a large yard for outdoor games. We were so impressed with the staff, who helped us with a catering as well as a canoe trip. We are already planning our next family reunion for this resort.

The views were great. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied. The entry door was broken and in need of repair. The gas grill was out of gas. Poor location of the firepit overlooking the parking lot and trash receptacles.

Very clean, very nice location. I booked the Adams cottage for 1 night. I attended a conference at the Garland Resort on May 9 & 10. I paid $140 plus tax for a total of $159.29. Terms and conditions said there could be additional fees for missing items, extra than normal cleaning, pets, etc. I was there one night, used one face cloth and one towel. I didn't use the stove or grill. I placed my trash and 2 recycle bottles in the containers on the porch when I left. I was charged another $111.32 when I checked in. I did not expect extra charges, and I do not believe the room rate information indicated that there would be additional charges if the room was left in a clean and orderly state as it was when I left. I realize that I should have challenged the additional charges at the time. I was rushing to get to the conference. I feel that the pricing information both on ******* and on the Resort website are deceptive. I just reread the terms and conditions again, and I don't think that they indicate there will be additional charges under normal conditions.
