Hotels near City of Lake Tahoe Campground, South Lake Tahoe

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the decoration is quite new, but there is no peculiar smell; although it is not very big, it can be opened completely. When we went there, it was cooling down, but the air conditioner was very warm, so it felt very warm, but the noise was still a bit loud, so I turned it off before going to bed and added a layer of quilt. The bathroom is also very clean, the space is also large, the hot water is very hot, and the bath is very relieved! Parking is also free. The hotel is in the South Lake Tahoe area, you can walk to the lake across the street, and you can see the starry sky at night. In short, it exceeded expectations!

It's close to the lake and relatively quiet. The refrigerator is a bit noisy at night, so I got up and unplugged it 😎

Have now stayed there two different occasions - both time was the 1st guest in the rooms I was in. Nice amenities, well-decorated, and clean facility. (some guests were not careful in the public areas, but staff quickly cleaned up spills/garbage) Price in reasonable given the days I stayed (weekends always more costly, as are days when there are special events in town) - I checked with the ****** I usually stay at and their pricing was more! I erred in not putting both says of my most recent stay on one reservation, but called and Chris at the desk made sure to merge both so I didn't have to move from one room to another mid-stay. Then when the TV wouldn't work, the night staff sent someone who thought they might be able to fix it, up, but they couldn't. Very apologetic. The next morning the manager sent maintenance, they couldn't fix it, so manager accompanied maint. and still they couldn't get it to work. Manager offered to move me to a new room then. I declined, since I could still watch Netflix and YouTube. Then 10 minutes later, manager returned with another maint. person, and they tried a couple more things, eventually pulling back cabinet where TV connections to building were, and manager found and fixed a faulty connector! Then when checking out, etc, came upon some dogs locked up in a black SUV with no windows cracked and 72 and partially sunny out. Chris at desk went thru every check-in slip to find he described vehicle, and called that person to come take care of their dogs. (Chris, and I, were surprised since the hotel is dog-friendly and the dog would've been fine inside) All the staff in addition to those mentioned were the most helpful, accommodating, customer-centric people!

At night, you will encounter brown bears foraging for food~ The activities at night are also fun

A great location at a reasonable price. Our room, a queen bed on the ground floor, was comfortable. The bed was soft, the towels were fluffy, there was excellent lighting in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Both shower and toilet had good water pressure. The air conditioner was efficient and quiet. Hot breakfasts weren't available yet per COVID. The hotel has laundry facilities as well as an ice machine and soda machine. There is free parking but when the hotel is crowded, space is limited. It's a short walk to the beach and a nominal fee of $5 and a short walk to the ******s if that's your thing.

This hotel is the most cost-effective one since coming to the United States so many times! For skiing friends, this hotel is the best choice. The location is right next to the Heavenly Ski Resort, about 2 minutes' walk. The hotel has a parking service, free of charge, and of course free tip. The price of more than 200 RMB per night is super value, and there is no one and only one! The room is large, at least it can accommodate 4 people, the room is a big bed, the living room is a sofa bed, there is a spa bath between the room and the living room that can accommodate three or four people, the room is clean, the microwave and refrigerator are complete, the lobby front desk also helps me Print documents for free, friendly staff, and take the initiative to introduce how to rent skis. While I rarely am one to write reviews, my family and I were so amazed by the service that I had to make an exception. From beginning to end everything was phenomenal. To start, the bell service was top notch. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful to ensure our trip got to a good start. Our car and bags were treated as if it were their own. The restaurants were great as well. We had a nice dinner and drinks at Landshark and then Joe Merchant’s was great to get a bite before we hit the slopes. Location was perfect as well! It was a quick walk to the gondola and also near the ******s. Overall this was perfect for our family’s first trip to Tahoe! We will definitely be sure to come here again!

I spent five days here for a business trip and was really disappointed. The hotel itself looked very nice and was kept extremely clean, which is a huge plus. However the rooms could certainly use some work. I stayed in a king bed room and was expecting the bed to be somewhat comfortable. This was not the case. The bed was bumpy, lumpy and as felt as if I was sleeping on the box spring. The walls are insanely thin. I could hear full conversations from the other occupants on either side of me and was graciously woken up every morning by the sounds of either the wake up calls or their individual phone alarms. Not only that, the toilets flushing and showers from the bedroom above me. So all in all, the hotel wasn’t awful but certainly needs either some upgrades in the way of beds and noise. I would stay here again only if there wasn’t anything else available.

My wife and I went during the week, when the hotel is not very busy. For the price, our room was comfortable and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and enabled us to sleep well. The hotel was quiet; the crowd was older and did not disturb us at all. The maid did an excellent job of providing a clean environment in room 250. Everything was in good working order. Hot water arrived immediately in the shower. Valet service is available to move luggage, but one may need to ask for assistance at the front desk. We used the jacuzzi and swimming pool. The two jacuzzi are kept at different temperatures to optimize guest comfort. One is 101 and the other is 104 degrees. The water features are indoors, so they can be used any day of the year. Parking ias ample and close in. Covered parking is limited. The hotel has two restaurants. One is a cafe and the other is fine dining. Reservations are recommended for fine dining. The hotel also has a coffee bar that sells donuts and snacks. Traveler Alert: if you are driving from California on a week day, U.S. 50 has no open restrooms between Fresh Pond and South Lake Tahoe. Expect delays from one lane traffic control and flag men. No restaurants or gas stations were open beyond Fresh Pond. Long stretches had reduced speed limits posted. On State Route 88, we had the same problem between Minden and Pine Grove. The 76 Union Station east of Pine Grove would not allow us to use their restroom either, so we will do no business there in the future. Interstate 80 is recommended as a reliable alternative.
