Myself and a friend stayed here on two successive weekends as we were on a course in Oxford. It is a lovely village Inn. The rooms were simple and functional but clean and comfortable. The bar was lively and friendly when we arrived but quietened down later in the evening. The beer was excellent and as other reviewers have commented, the Thai food in the restaurant is amazing (there is also tradition pub grub on offer). The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming - what more can you ask. We did not have much time to explore the area, but the village looks lovely. We did manage a quick drink the Oxford Brewery, which is a 5min walk away - if you are in to real ale it is a must. There is no breakfast option. There is porridge and fruit in the room - but we opted for the all-you-can-eat breakfast at the Longwall Beefeater, 5mins drive away.
