The Queens Head

A welcoming Inn, just outside Oxford. Good beer, friendly staff, room adequate and comfortable. But, the food was insane! Delicious Thai/Asian cuisine of a standard of 1 AA Rosette 🏵 They really need to invite an AA inspector as I am sure, they would secure at least 1 Rosette for Culinary Excellence. The food was very nice and it was prepared nicely. The atmosphere of the pub is great, staff are nice - always offering help and service. Drinks were great too, menu had all sorts and there was alot to choose from. Cooked nicely and was overall a pleasant experience.

A good place for a stopover Really lovely pub with good food and friendly owners/staff. Was a bit noisy early in evening but very quiet by bedtime. Perfect for a night and our plans and not far from the park and ride (parking charges in Oxford are very high - £15 for 2 hours not unusual)

Good value close to M40 Bit off beaten track nothing but small village around, attached to the pub serving thai food and small british food selection, which was very tasty. Good for quiet country walk iafter. Small outside bed room, very hot inside on the sunny day I was there, would be unbearable without tall standing fan provided. Noise from inside pub seemed amplified and loud as right next to one of entrance doors but it ended at 11pm. Fruit and pastry provided for breakfast next day and beds comfy. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Parking - small amount and limited when pub open but can park on road outside. Would stay here again as good value and not far from Oxford, waterperry gardens and M40.

Lovely pub. Really nice pub. We had food in the Thai restaurant and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room comfy and clean.
