Do not book at this apartment. To pick up the keys for the apartment we were told to go to the Claremont hotel however the Claremont was shut down. I called at least 5 times, left voicemail messages. I sent a text message and nobody called me or replied back. We had to then find alternative accommodation and were left out of pocket. We still have had no contact from the seller. We also paid a $200 bond that has not be returned. IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

The apartment was convenient to family and local shops and restaurants. It was smartly decorated and comfortable to stay in. We found it easy to find and navigate, particularly the parking. Phone response to our query was quick and friendly and easily solved our questions.

Clean, spacious and extremely quite. Lovely private back area, nice sized bathroom and comfortable bed. No noise, good shower, lots of space and amenities. Exceeded my expectations. Good parking available and excellent check in service.

Had the best stay at MAC South Yarra! The rooms are beautifully appointed and really have everything you need (even though we barely spent much time there - there's so much to do and see just outside the doors). The apartments are literally in the best location - so close to trains, trams etc. and so many amazing shops, restaurants and bars along Toorak Rd and Chapel St. Can't wait to stay again asap!

The South Yarra apartment I had was extremely clean and tidy...the living area was very roomy...only problem I had was the door to the bedroom couldn't open fully as the bed was in the way...otherwise...bathroom was great as was the kitchen/dining area...I luv'd that there was sufficient room in the lounge room for guests to sit and chat too on the big couch and the single chair in the lounge was so comfy. Also couldn't figure out if it was the heater in the room and the air con in the wall of the kitchen...but it was freezing coz I didn't have any paperwork or instructions as such to heater or air con...so cold I actually left early hrs of the morning and drove all the way home. That being said ...I would definitely stay again... I'd work out the heater and air con situation beforehand... reception on organising the apartment are so nice and professional, I can't fault them...plus the apartment is so clean...you couldn't be happier with that.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a very well maintained block. Fantastic location - a few steps from a great range of shops, cafes, restaurants and a short walk from tram stops and train station. The only suggestion I would make is that it would be handy to have a user manual for the microwave as I found it difficult to use even though it was a fairly basic model. Overall, really great experience and if I'm ever lucky enough to visit Australia again in the future, I would love to stay here again. I would 100% recommend MAC South Yarra to family, friends or colleagues looking to book a trip to Melbourne.
