Polo Club Hotel

Had breakfast here with two colleagues and it was absolutely brilliant. We ordered two full English breakfasts and one eggs Benedict — everything was cooked perfectly, fresh, and full of flavour. The portions were generous without being over the top. The service was equally impressive — the staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s always nice to start the day with great food and genuinely helpful service. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a top-quality breakfast and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll be back!

A most pleasant and comfortable 2 nights stay at the Polo Club Hotel. Although we had a basic room at the rear of the hotel, it was well appointed, clean, plus a very comfortable bed. The staff were exceptional, a credit to the hotel management, for their politeness and helpfulness. Breakfast were good and there is mouth watering selection of Tapas available in the bar in the evening. At present Lunches and Supper are served in an adjacent building. Looking forward to returning in the New Year.

Where do I start. One of the best hotels we've stayed in. My wife & I stayed here for 3 nights in September. All I can say is Hotel, staff, food, rooms were first class. The hotel is situated in between Warwick 20 mins, Stratford upon Avon 30mins, & Leamington Spa 10 mins. The hotel is based in the grounds of Dallas Burston Polo Club. When we arrived to celebrate our 40th anniversary year and both our retirements, we had been upgraded to a premium room with balcony. OMG what a magnificent room and everything in it. Nothing out of place. All staff were so approachable and helpful. Food at breakfast was lovely, cooked to order and service was impeccable. There is no restaurant at the moment and not sure if this is something for the future, however they have started Tapas evenings on Sunday & Monday, unfortunately we missed this, however the food looked amazing as they were serving other guests as we entered the bar/lounge area. There is a pub on site, a short 5 minute walk from the hotel, however if you wish the staff will take you down on the buggy. Our 3 night stay was fantastic and the extras that were left in our fridge after returning to our room each day were much appreciated. We will definitely return in the future, especially for the Tapas evening. Thanks for a great stay

Outstanding stay, staff very welcoming, Beautiful appointed room and bathroom. Comfortable bed with luxury bedding. Fabulous breakfast and well presented. We will be returning.

Very impressive decor nice quality and well fitted rooms. A nice touch having fresh milk in the provided fridge for tea and coffee making in the room. We had a Very nice bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast is served in the lounge, a good choice of continental breakfast options with hot offerings cooked to order using top quality local produce. All the staff are very welcoming and attentive. We had a couple of evening meals at the on site pub The Millstone Hare just 4 minutes walk away. Again both the service and food on offer were excellent, not over priced and very generous portions. We were just 7 miles drive away from Leamington for The National Bowls finals will definitely book again

Booked a 2 night stay and SO pleased we chose this hotel (had initially booked pub accommodation for approx £40 less). This was well worth the extra as the experience was out of this world. You approach via a long driveway to see a building akin to Dallas the series with the polo field to the front of the building. Ample wide car spaces close to the main entrance. Checked in and had to load £50 credit from bank card which is reimbursed at the end of your stay if you don't spend anything additional at the hotel. Room (and indeed the whole hotel) was opulent and very over the top but in a good way. Our room had a balcony with AstroTurf and patio furniture overlooking the polo field which was the cherry on top for me. Bed was mahoosive and very comfortable with ample plug sockets to each side. The Aircon, TV and blinds were all via remotes and easy to operate. Breakfast consisted of a buffet of yogurts, croissants, danish pastries, cold meats, cheese, toast and melon followed by cooked options. All produce was premium quality and cooked to individuals taste. I have to make a special mention to Leti who we booked the room through. She was super helpful and I got to thank her in person when she happened to be covering reception. Second mention to Shirley who served breakfast. She enquired how we'd slept and even tho she asked other guests she said it in a way that sounded genuine. All staff look really smart in their uniforms and all were happy to chat. My only gripe relates to the drinks in the hotel. My sister joined us and we had two cocktails and one small beer which cost best part of £50. That in itself isn't my grip as, whilst it was rather steep and the most I've ever paid for said drinks I accept that the price point was in keeping with the 5* hotel experience. However we were charged £5 service charge on top of the bill for the drinks. We had a second round (my sister paid for this one and at this point we weren't aware of the service charge as the first one was deducted from my pre-payment) and she was also charged an additional £5 - I think this is bad practice as a) we weren't made aware of the charge b) to be charged £5 every time you go to the bar feels very unfair. Whilst I'm disappointed by this it certainly didn't detract from the whole experience and I would love to revisit in the future.
