EeCupNoodleWe had just spent 3 nights at this B&B and loved our stay there very much. The manager on duty, Mr Wang, picked us up from the airport. Helped us settle in. We then wandered around the ancient town, which was a very nice place to explore as well. He assisted us with booking an onsen session at another resort in the area (20-minute walk). Also helped us with booking rental car, making travel plans, booking ride to Baoshan Railway Station. He and his crew were friendly, genuinely kind, attentive, always offering to assist. Room was super comfortable. Design was simple but very nice. He designed the decor himself. Given the chance, I would love to come back and stay again (longer, hopefully).

I was a little apprehensive after seeing a review that gave the hotel low ratings for its facilities. But after staying there, I must clear up my doubts – it was a complete ”misunderstanding”! The experience was absolutely fantastic!
Our room was fully equipped with everything you could need: a dry sauna, a private hot tub, a dehumidifier, and underfloor heating. Everything was brand new and high-end. Let me focus on the ”misunderstood” dry sauna: Upon check-in, the butler mentioned that some guests had complained about the sauna being too cold and asked me to try it and provide feedback. Could that be true? They patiently demonstrated how to use it. The key is that after heating it for a few minutes, you need to gently pour water onto the volcanic rocks on the stove using a wooden ladle – with a ”hiss,” a wave of heat instantly rises, raising the room temperature to 70-80 degrees Celsius within minutes, making you sweat incredibly well and comfortably. I suspect the previous guests might have missed this crucial step.
The room's details were very thoughtfully designed. For example, the dehumidifier quickly dried the air after steaming, and the private hot tub was always ready for use with a stable temperature. The public areas were also stylishly designed; both the reading room and tea room offered instant relaxation.
This stay made me realize that a good hotel not only needs top-notch facilities but also patient and attentive service. Thanks to the butler's thoughtful introductions, we didn't miss a single wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality; you won't be disappointed!

MM42420****I rarely write reviews, but this stay at the Tengchong Jingge Hotel was extremely disappointing. First, for a price of 1395 yuan per night, the room, bathroom, shower, and toilet were incredibly small, and the elevator in the public area couldn't even accommodate two people standing side-by-side. Second, during check-in, we asked a staff member to fill the hot spring pool in our room, but when we soaked in the outdoor public hot spring pool, it was very cold. We thought we could soak in it again later in our room, but when we asked, they said there was only one staff member on the night shift and she was unavailable. We said we would wait until she finished delivering to another room before getting hot water, and after some hesitation, we agreed, but she could only fill it and leave immediately; she couldn't even wait two minutes for the cold water to fill. Third, in a rush to check out in the morning, I accidentally left a room key in my pocket. After leaving, I specifically called to apologize. They replied that I either had to have it delivered or pay 20 yuan in compensation. For such a high-end hotel with such an expensive room rate, is it really worth the extra 20 yuan? Well, thankfully our driver thought it was a small matter and returned it. But this kind of service will definitely not happen again.

The hotel is nestled in the Mayu Valley, with each room being a standalone or semi-detached unit, spaced incredibly far apart! You absolutely won't hear your neighbors. 👏
⚠️ Key point: All guests can enjoy private hot springs in their rooms ♨️! There's also a VIP pass for hotel guests, allowing unlimited access to Angsana Hot Springs during their stay (and the water quality is super clean, it's a natural carbonic hot spring!).

The SPA also has a full line of essential oil products for sale! I recommend the 'Banyan Tree Classic Lemongrass Essential Oil' to continue enjoying the same healing scent at home.

Their SPA truly lives up to its reputation! I chose the 'Hot Stone Massage + Essential Oil Back Massage,' and the masseuse's technique was incredibly professional. After the massage, I felt completely light and refreshed ✨ Remember to book in advance!
📌 Practical Tips:
▪️ Best to travel by rental car; it's about a 40-minute drive from Tengchong Airport.
▪️ I recommend staying at least 2 nights; one night simply isn't enough to experience everything!
▪️ Definitely join the nearby 'Hiking in the Rice Fields' and 'Terraced Fields' activities. The 3km trek is very worthwhile, with a hotel guide leading the way and teaching kids about jungle knowledge. 📸

The tranquil hot spring bathtub king room at Donghuyuan I stayed in this time truly exceeded my expectations!
✅ Hygiene: The room was meticulously cleaned; every detail was spotless. The bedding and bathroom had no odors, making for a very reassuring stay.
✅ Environment: The hotel is tucked away next to Qinghua Lake Wetland Park. Its Chinese garden design offers beautiful scenery at every turn, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Being able to immerse myself in nature after business meetings was incredibly healing.
✅ Service: From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently attentive. The front desk handled check-in efficiently and proactively introduced the hotel's hot springs and local attractions. Housekeeping was prompt in their responses, making me feel right at home.
✅ Facilities: The room was well-equipped. The private hot spring bathtub was the biggest highlight; soaking in the fluoride-rich silicic acid hot spring left my skin feeling silky smooth and was incredibly effective in relieving business trip fatigue. The soundproofing and natural light were excellent, making it comfortable for both work and rest.
This hotel is truly perfect for business travelers. I've already recommended it to colleagues and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Baoshan!

GGuest UserReally dug into a treasure! This mountain view villa has a 360-degree view without dead ends. It is full of mountains and wilds, and there is no obstruction at all. Standing on the balcony, the greenery seems to be close to touching. The privacy of the villa is very good. You can barbecue and daze in the yard. You can look up at Tianhe Mountain. You can look down at flowers and grass. The quiet and comfortable way away from the hustle and bustle is all there. The experience is full of five stars!

GGuest UserThis hotel is nestled within a hot spring village, offering a beautiful environment that truly makes you feel close to nature. Tengchong isn't a very large area, so travel time from the hotel to various scenic spots won't exceed 30 minutes.
The private hot spring is set in a charming little courtyard, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The afternoon tea included in our room package required a reservation in advance, as they prepare a limited number of sets daily. If our schedule was tight and we missed the afternoon tea time, they were happy to deliver it to our room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the service maintained the Banyan Tree standard. My only surprise was the lack of Christmas atmosphere in Tengchong; even a major international brand like Banyan Tree had no Christmas decorations or elements during the holiday season.

There's a small public courtyard in the front and a private hot spring courtyard in the back. The hot spring area also has a separate bathing area. Breakfast, while not luxurious, is sufficient with just a simple rice noodle dish. Charging stations are nearby, and there are laundry and dryer facilities—everything a family needs is provided.
Suggestions:
1. The hot spring bathing area should be equipped with shampoo and other toiletries;
2. More washing machines and dryers would be needed, as this is very important for family trips.

LLemengdengdejiajiaHaving had a wonderful experience at the Bolian in Kunming, I wanted to try the Heshun Bolian hotel near Heshun Ancient Town when I arrived in Tengchong. The hotel is very distinctive, with a clean, unified color scheme. Located right next to the bustling town, it offers a tranquil and relaxing retreat. We chose a duplex bathhouse, which we absolutely loved. The high ceilings made the room feel spacious and airy, and the sanitation was impeccable. I'd especially like to highlight the excellent service at the Bolian. Front desk manager Yang Yunli was incredibly helpful and attentive, accommodating all our requests and handling any issues quickly, ensuring a truly wonderful stay. The food in the restaurant was also delicious, especially the thin bean flour fried dough sticks for breakfast. Thank you! I'll definitely stay at the Bolian again when I visit Tengchong.
