YYouxiaaaaThe first time I lived here, I felt great. The room was large, clean, bright and hygienic, and there was an exclusive private soup. The traffic was very convenient. The boss wife was very warm and thoughtful. The breakfast made by the boss was rich and delicious. When checking out, the boss also sent a souvenir. Thank you very much! Next time I come to Tengchong, I will live here because I feel like going home. I will recommend friends to Tengchong to live here too.

EeCupNoodleWe had just spent 3 nights at this B&B and loved our stay there very much. The manager on duty, Mr Wang, picked us up from the airport. Helped us settle in. We then wandered around the ancient town, which was a very nice place to explore as well. He assisted us with booking an onsen session at another resort in the area (20-minute walk). Also helped us with booking rental car, making travel plans, booking ride to Baoshan Railway Station. He and his crew were friendly, genuinely kind, attentive, always offering to assist. Room was super comfortable. Design was simple but very nice. He designed the decor himself. Given the chance, I would love to come back and stay again (longer, hopefully).

GGuest UserTengchong had always been a place I longed to visit, a place steeped in poetry and distant dreams, but the long and arduous journey had prevented me from ever making the trip. Until one day, a friend recommended the exclusive private butler service at the Three Senses Hot Spring Resort in Tengchong, and I finally set foot on this magical land. As the majestic Gaoligong Mountains and the winding Nujiang River appeared beneath the plane's wings, Tengchong, a small town nestled in a basin, unfolded before me.
The Three Senses butler was already waiting at the airport, and we arrived at the hotel in less than ten minutes. We booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom room with a living room. Inside, the room featured a Chinese-style screen, a Western-style fireplace, French-style ceilings, and American-style bedding—every detail exuded high-end luxury. The spacious and elegant living room was an ideal place for the family to enjoy tea and conversation; the two adjacent yet independent bedrooms provided each person with necessary privacy. After a day of sightseeing, you could soak in a rose petal bath or enjoy the sulfur hot spring water sourced from Rehai (Hot Sea) in your room, then drift off to sleep amidst the fragrant scent of pine trees wafting from the mountains behind the hotel! The breakfast options were plentiful, including wild mushroom rice noodles, Tengchong's specialty instant bean noodles, free-range eggs, volcanic mud sweet potatoes, freshly ground non-GMO soy milk, and a rich, steamed mixed mushroom soup. After breakfast, enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee from China's first coffee village to energize your day.
The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently close to nearby attractions. Combined with Three Senses' dedicated butler service, our outings and sightseeing were incredibly easy and enjoyable. After dinner, we lit a bonfire in the backyard by the mountain, brewed a cup of the famous Lei Xiang tea, and chatted idly while listening to the rustling pines – pure bliss! The hotel's spa service is also highly recommended. The therapists are skilled, the environment is uniquely tranquil, and the sulfur spring has amazing effects, allowing for ultimate relaxation and enjoyment! Unfortunately, time was limited, and we couldn't experience Three Senses' unique travel photography, in-depth coffee village experience, or Gaoligong Mountain hiking.
I love the song ”Colorful Yunnan”. Unfortunately, the song doesn't mention Tengchong. So, I can't help but add a verse: South of the colorful clouds, the westernmost place. Heroic Tengchong, its praises sung far and wide. Volcanic hot springs, vibrant and energetic. Ancient ginkgo villages, golden leaves in bloom. Boating on the West Sea, the setting sun over the East Mountain. Harmony and tranquility, peace and serenity.
Come to Tengchong! Stay at San Shan. Here, let's gently brew time and slowly brew tea, practicing with San Shan: kind words, kind deeds, kind heart!

MM42420****I rarely write reviews, but this stay at the Tengchong Jingge Hotel was extremely disappointing. First, for a price of 1395 yuan per night, the room, bathroom, shower, and toilet were incredibly small, and the elevator in the public area couldn't even accommodate two people standing side-by-side. Second, during check-in, we asked a staff member to fill the hot spring pool in our room, but when we soaked in the outdoor public hot spring pool, it was very cold. We thought we could soak in it again later in our room, but when we asked, they said there was only one staff member on the night shift and she was unavailable. We said we would wait until she finished delivering to another room before getting hot water, and after some hesitation, we agreed, but she could only fill it and leave immediately; she couldn't even wait two minutes for the cold water to fill. Third, in a rush to check out in the morning, I accidentally left a room key in my pocket. After leaving, I specifically called to apologize. They replied that I either had to have it delivered or pay 20 yuan in compensation. For such a high-end hotel with such an expensive room rate, is it really worth the extra 20 yuan? Well, thankfully our driver thought it was a small matter and returned it. But this kind of service will definitely not happen again.

The SPA also has a full line of essential oil products for sale! I recommend the 'Banyan Tree Classic Lemongrass Essential Oil' to continue enjoying the same healing scent at home.

Their SPA truly lives up to its reputation! I chose the 'Hot Stone Massage + Essential Oil Back Massage,' and the masseuse's technique was incredibly professional. After the massage, I felt completely light and refreshed ✨ Remember to book in advance!

▪️ Best to travel by rental car; it's about a 40-minute drive from Tengchong Airport.
▪️ I recommend staying at least 2 nights; one night simply isn't enough to experience everything!
▪️ Definitely join the nearby 'Hiking in the Rice Fields' and 'Terraced Fields' activities. The 3km trek is very worthwhile, with a hotel guide leading the way and teaching kids about jungle knowledge. 📸

LLemengdengdejiajiaHaving had a wonderful experience at the Bolian in Kunming, I wanted to try the Heshun Bolian hotel near Heshun Ancient Town when I arrived in Tengchong. The hotel is very distinctive, with a clean, unified color scheme. Located right next to the bustling town, it offers a tranquil and relaxing retreat. We chose a duplex bathhouse, which we absolutely loved. The high ceilings made the room feel spacious and airy, and the sanitation was impeccable. I'd especially like to highlight the excellent service at the Bolian. Front desk manager Yang Yunli was incredibly helpful and attentive, accommodating all our requests and handling any issues quickly, ensuring a truly wonderful stay. The food in the restaurant was also delicious, especially the thin bean flour fried dough sticks for breakfast. Thank you! I'll definitely stay at the Bolian again when I visit Tengchong.

It is completely the picture in the movie, the 360-degree mountain view without dead ends, and the shots are blockbuster, and there is no need for filters at all! 📸
The check-in experience is also full score 💯, the decoration is the kind of modern style with a very texture, the bedding is super comfortable, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry and has a smart toilet.
My favorite is the oversized terrace, get a cup of coffee, and watch the mountains and clouds in the distance. It’s not too pleasant.
The boss also raised a very beautiful little fat cat.

GGuest UserThis hotel is nestled within a hot spring village, offering a beautiful environment that truly makes you feel close to nature. Tengchong isn't a very large area, so travel time from the hotel to various scenic spots won't exceed 30 minutes.
The private hot spring is set in a charming little courtyard, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The afternoon tea included in our room package required a reservation in advance, as they prepare a limited number of sets daily. If our schedule was tight and we missed the afternoon tea time, they were happy to deliver it to our room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the service maintained the Banyan Tree standard. My only surprise was the lack of Christmas atmosphere in Tengchong; even a major international brand like Banyan Tree had no Christmas decorations or elements during the holiday season.

The tram is friendly and the overall praise is very good. The room service aunt is very good. I have trouble helping to get things many times. The hotel is mainly based on the team, and I don't pay attention to individual customers. I have met two front desks in total. One man and one woman are more enthusiastic. Secondly, although the hotel is named Yunfengshan Hot Spring Hotel, it still exists to the scenic spot 2.5 kilometers, and the hotel does not provide free shuttle bus to the scenic spot. Didi taxi by yourself This place is very desolate and no one takes orders at all. It is not a lot of money to drive the transportation fee. (Fortunately, the hotel provides a taxi service. It is a bit more expensive) Secondly, the road in the mountains is difficult to drive. There are a lot of burning on the road. The fog in the mountains and the smoke of burning the smog cause low visibility and poor road conditions. The road is full of large trucks loaded with ore and uncovered. There are two lanes in total. When we came out of the hotel, we saw other vehicles on the road. There was a traffic accident. Causes road blockage. The scenery of Yunfeng Mountain itself is relatively general and not colorful. But the vegetarian food on Yunfeng Mountain is delicious and not expensive. You can consider whether you need to travel.
