NiubaobaodemaThis hotel is very close to Chen Cheng's Residence. It's a century-old mansion that retains its original blue brick and wooden beams, stair corridors, and staggered terraces, all while embracing a Wabi-sabi and New Chinese low-saturation aesthetic. The misty grey paired with old wood tones creates a very relaxing atmosphere, perfect for those who love photography. The location is excellent, peaceful yet central, and even better, there's a mini-park right below! The soundproofing in the rooms is also great!
**Facilities:** Very well-equipped, with excellent attention to detail! The bedding is high-quality and very comfortable, and the toiletries are nice.
**Hygiene:** Extremely clean, practically spotless – something many hotels struggle to achieve!
**Service:** The front desk guy and the concierge lady provided excellent service. They were enthusiastic but not overbearing, maintaining a professional distance! (For this alone, I'd definitely stay here again next time.)
**Unexpected Delights:** Considering I was traveling with a high schooler, they upgraded my room for free and even provided afternoon tea and breakfast for my child! (Highly recommend the parent-child suites for those with kids.)
I especially want to commend the hotel's afternoon tea – both the drinks and cakes were excellent and delicious. The welcome fruit was very fresh! Breakfast was substantial, generous in portions, and offered a wide variety!
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. If it weren't for my child needing to go back to school, I would have stayed a few more days! (I'll be back next time!)👍👍👍👍👍

Guest UserThe room was incredibly spacious, and the two hot spring pools were a huge hit with the kids – they loved how warm they were, and we didn't have to worry about them being too noisy and disturbing others. The butler was very thoughtful, contacting us beforehand to confirm our check-in time and ensuring everything like fruit and snacks was perfectly prepared. It was a truly relaxing stay!

DaiwazhubianzhongguoI never expected to find such a warm and inviting hotel hidden away in Ciqikou Ancient Town.
Traveling with kids, finding the right room type is always a headache, but the family room we booked this time was perfect – the beds were big enough, the space was generous, and my child didn't want to get out of the bathtub. Even better, you can take a taxi directly to the main entrance, and there's an underground parking lot too. It's so convenient, it hardly feels like you're in an ancient town.
In the center of the courtyard is a pavilion, surrounded by small stools. When the fire was lit, a singer played guitar in the pavilion. I sat by the fire with a craft beer in hand, feeling the warmth on my face, and my mind just emptied – I wasn't thinking about anything, just the crackling of the firewood. In that moment, it felt like I was sitting in an old courtyard deep in the mountains, where time slowed down enough to hear my own heartbeat. Xiao Qing and Xiao Tuo at the front desk were also very attentive, reminding us about the fire and singing in the evening when we checked in.
The hotel is called 'Yueyin Chongqing Courtyard', and it's such a fitting name. It truly feels like a hidden courtyard in the city, full of life and human touch.
Next time I come to Chongqing, I'll probably detour here just for this fire again.

Anonymous UserAs a frequent guest at your hotel, every time I step into the lobby, what I look forward to most is seeing the familiar and warm smile of Kathy at the front desk. She's practically an old friend now – I don't even need to say much; she always remembers my preference for a quiet, high-floor room and has my key card ready in advance. The check-in process is always efficient and smooth, and she'll greet me like an old friend, asking things like, ”How many days are you staying in Chongqing this time?” or ”Did you try that restaurant I recommended last time?” That perfect level of familiarity makes me feel at ease.
Kathy's thoughtfulness is also hidden in the details: she notices my flight schedule and proactively offers a late check-out. If she sees I have sports gear, she thoughtfully lets me know when the gym is least crowded. This feeling of 'being remembered' adds a touch of warmth to what could otherwise be a cold business trip. She never slacks off just because I'm a regular; instead, she shows even more meticulous care, turning every encounter into a warm 'reunion.' Thank you, Kathy – this is precisely why I always choose to stay here. It's because of people like her that you want to keep coming back.

HelenWangThe most beautiful night view of the mountain city, hidden in the gentle details of Regent Chongqing 🌙 True luxury is never about extravagant decor, but about service that is just right and perfectly measured. We were treated with meticulous care and gentleness throughout our stay. The staff were warm yet discreet, attentive but never intrusive. Because we had a package 📦, they thoughtfully prepared a tool for opening it for us, along with a local travel map 🗺️, local snacks, beer, and drinks 🍸. From the check-in guidance, thoughtful amenities, and attentive room service, to patiently resolving every small issue, countless small, heartwarming details made us feel incredibly at ease. The river view is vast, the night scenery dazzling, and the service even more heart-healing. The best decision for our trip to Chongqing was to stay at the Regent and be gently pampered throughout our journey.

Overall, a beautiful hotel, on a great position. Modern, bright and innovative room design, a bit small, but charming reception area.
Chaotianmen view corner room is a blast! One of the most amazing views one can imagine, especially at night.
Free ice cream for the in house guests by the reception :-)
Beautiful breakfast/all day dining room, with equaly superb views. Breakfast is fresh, with plenty of choice (slightly less adjusted to the Western taste, but still fine).
The staff is curteous and hard working, but still lacks a bit of training/skills - no proactive communication during breakfast, i.e. offering coffee or anything really, just picking up plates (it is a new hotel, so one should not be too harsh...they will get there on time).
Very affordable minibar (free on the day of arrival) and room service (the food is ok, but lacks in presentation and served basic style....just a couple of plates thrown on the table...no trolley, no tablecloth, napkins...)
The pool looks nice, but it is not operated by the hotel...some kids learning how to swim while we were there so not sure whether they have it open for the outside guests (kids swimming school?). Something that should be monitored by the hotel in the future - for the guest, the pool is considered a part of the hotel experience, so a high service and cleanliness level is expected as a norm.
Minor negatives, still something to consider in the future: two days before checkout I've been texted by a member of staff to deposit another 1k RMB (after depositing 10k already) since my total expense has exceeded the initial deposit. Never happened to me before and never should have happened in the first place. One might even feel offended by such request (like I would run away without paying the rest of my bill or something...I guess, spending more should be a plus, no?). Also, at the end, I was asked to write a 5 star review and received a fully prepared review text by Wechat, which I was supposed to simply copy/paste. Well, initially we laughed about it, but one might find it a bit condesending, no? Anyways, these small glitches are not of utmost importance. I have already decided to give them 5 star, since it is a brand new place, with huge potential and enough room for improvement to perfection. We really had a great time in Chongqing and our hotel experience was in general a pleasant one. I would certainly stay there again. The negative remarks shoul simply be taken as a guideline for improvement, not something I would seriously hold against this charming establishment.

CherrylinlinmaThis hotel is conveniently located near Guanyin Bridge, making transportation a breeze. While it's not the newest hotel, the room facilities are still quite good. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The staff are all incredibly warm and attentive, especially Jackie and Bella, who really made us feel right at home.

Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout.
Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair.
Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service.

Guest UserTraveling with my dog to Chongqing, I stayed at the Westin Jiefangbei. Its prime location in the heart of Jiefangbei made shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The high-altitude panoramic views were stunning. As a pet-friendly hotel, the check-in process for my pet was smooth after prior communication. The room was well-maintained, and having an underground parking lot was a huge plus for self-driving. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local Chongqing specialties. The guest ambassador was very responsive and handled requests efficiently. My only minor disappointment was the lack of luggage assistance upon arrival, which was a slight deviation from the brand's expected service. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely consider returning to this hotel on my next trip to Chongqing.

Guest UserI chose the Ramada Encore in Guanyinqiao for my business trip to Chongqing this time, and it generally exceeded my expectations.
The location is incredibly convenient. The hotel is right in the heart of the Guanyinqiao commercial district. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station from downstairs, making it effortless for meeting clients, dining, or shopping. After work in the evening, I could even stroll out for some hotpot, which is super friendly for business travelers.
I was given a business king room, which was spacious enough. The desk was large, power strips and USB ports were conveniently placed, and the Wi-Fi speed was fast. The soundproofing was good; I barely heard any noise from the corridor, so I slept very soundly. The linens and bathroom were clean, and hot water came quickly, which is very important.
The front desk staff were highly efficient. Both check-in and check-out were smooth, and they even proactively helped me extend my stay until 2 PM. For breakfast, the highlight was the Chongqing noodles and freshly ground soy milk, which perfectly captured the local flavor. I ate them for two consecutive days without getting tired of them.
This hotel offers unbeatable value for money. I will likely book it again on my next business trip to Chongqing.
