Chongqing Spa Hotels

This hotel is very close to Chen Cheng's Residence. It's a century-old mansion that retains its original blue brick and wooden beams, stair corridors, and staggered terraces, all while embracing a Wabi-sabi and New Chinese low-saturation aesthetic. The misty grey paired with old wood tones creates a very relaxing atmosphere, perfect for those who love photography. The location is excellent, peaceful yet central, and even better, there's a mini-park right below! The soundproofing in the rooms is also great! **Facilities:** Very well-equipped, with excellent attention to detail! The bedding is high-quality and very comfortable, and the toiletries are nice. **Hygiene:** Extremely clean, practically spotless – something many hotels struggle to achieve! **Service:** The front desk guy and the concierge lady provided excellent service. They were enthusiastic but not overbearing, maintaining a professional distance! (For this alone, I'd definitely stay here again next time.) **Unexpected Delights:** Considering I was traveling with a high schooler, they upgraded my room for free and even provided afternoon tea and breakfast for my child! (Highly recommend the parent-child suites for those with kids.) I especially want to commend the hotel's afternoon tea – both the drinks and cakes were excellent and delicious. The welcome fruit was very fresh! Breakfast was substantial, generous in portions, and offered a wide variety! Overall, it was a fantastic experience. If it weren't for my child needing to go back to school, I would have stayed a few more days! (I'll be back next time!)👍👍👍👍👍

The room was incredibly spacious, and the two hot spring pools were a huge hit with the kids – they loved how warm they were, and we didn't have to worry about them being too noisy and disturbing others. The butler was very thoughtful, contacting us beforehand to confirm our check-in time and ensuring everything like fruit and snacks was perfectly prepared. It was a truly relaxing stay!

Our stay at Yueyin Chongqing Courtyard was truly exceptional. From the moment we stepped out of our Didi, we were greeted with warm hospitality that immediately made us feel welcome. The receptionists, Xiaolei and Xiaoqing, were incredibly friendly and efficient. Check-in was completed quickly, and they personally escorted us to our room while introducing the hotel's facilities and amenities. They also thoughtfully shared local sightseeing and food recommendations around Ciqikou, which was greatly appreciated. The service was outstanding. The staff took the time to explain the various complimentary perks included with our stay, such as free beer for two, complimentary evening soup, an afternoon tea set, and even informed us about the live singing performance held at night. The hotel itself is beautifully designed in a traditional Chinese courtyard style, offering a peaceful and elegant atmosphere away from the bustle of the ancient town. The surroundings are serene and relaxing, making it an ideal retreat. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the large hot spring tub, along with the complimentary bath bomb and rose petals that added a luxurious touch to our stay. During our free time, strolling around the courtyard and taking photos was a delight, as every corner was picture-perfect. The hotel's location is also very convenient for exploring Ciqikou Ancient Town. Whether it is the environment, service, facilities, or location, everything is impeccable. This is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Ciqikou, and we would definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip. Highly recommended!

Location is great! Everything about this hotel is almost perfect. This my first time staying here during summer season. ONLY ISSUE IS THE AIR CONDITIONS SYSTEMS, I had set the temperature to 15c but the room remain at 25c-27c. ( outdoor temperature is at 35c-38c daytime and 30c-32c nighttime ) They even change the room for me the next day. But it even worst cause they put me to higher floor and a corner room which have a larger window which track more sun and heat. Those 3 nights I can get a good night sleep. some how able to pre-program the system and leave it at 26c. Even the hallway is a lot cooler than the room. FINAL COMMENT: AVOID THIS HOTEL DURING SUMMER. pick a hotel and call ahead and make sure the ac unit is working. Chongqing is no joke when it comes to summer.

This time, I chose the Regent Chongqing for my birthday, and it turned out to be an absolutely brilliant decision! Surprisingly, even for someone accustomed to staying in five-star hotels, I was still blown away. The entire experience can be described as 'impeccable.' 🏨 About the Room and Divine Service: The room was spacious, and the round bathtub in the bathroom, coupled with the vanity, exuded a high-quality feel. What surprised me most was the 'butler cabinet' design in the room! Deliveries and laundry services were completely contactless, protecting privacy and being incredibly convenient. This detail truly impressed me! I must give a special shout-out to our butler, Doreen! Her service was truly attentive and gentle, impeccable to the core 💯. From pre-check-in communication to various needs after checking in, she anticipated everything and arranged it perfectly, just like a long-time friend. 🎂 Birthday Surprise: Upon returning to the room, I found a delightful surprise prepared by the hotel – a lovely birthday cake and illuminated 'HB' letters, creating a full sense of occasion! On the ground floor, we could also take photos for free and print out a customized 'Regent Daily' with our photos and names. The butler also arranged fresh rose petals, lemon slices, bath salts, and even hydrating masks and steam eye masks for the bathtub. Soaking in the tub was truly therapeutic 🛁. 🌃 The Top-Tier Rooftop Bar 'Two Rivers Bar': The highlight of the evening was definitely the rooftop bar! The view was absolutely top-notch! It offered a panoramic view of Chongqing's stunning night scenery and the confluence of the two rivers. Listening to the romantic live band (the cello and singer were very classy), enjoying the evening breeze, gazing at the dazzling lights, and sipping some drinks – the ambiance was simply phenomenal 🍷. Every photo taken looked like a masterpiece! Overall, Regent Chongqing not only boasts excellent hardware but also seamlessly blends 'luxury' and 'warmth' in its software service. If you're visiting Chongqing or celebrating an anniversary, choosing this place will definitely not disappoint!

The hotel decor is absolutely beautiful. The elevator is private, and the duplex suite we booked was incredibly spacious. The sofa was huge, and there's a large observation balcony directly facing Chaotianmen, which offered a prime view for the Saturday night drone show! The room was impeccably clean, and the air freshener smelled lovely. The bedding was super comfortable, almost like what you'd have at home, not those stiff, plain white sheets you usually find in hotels. All the toiletries were top-notch; the Dyson hairdryer was fantastic, and even the toilet paper was Kleenex. The projector came with a membership. The only minor downside was that breakfast was quite simple with limited choices. However, right outside the hotel, there's a street full of restaurants, including many hotpot places. A short walk takes you to Longfor Paradise Walk and Danzishi Old Street, both great for exploring. The nearby Danzishi ferry terminal has hourly departures; you can take a round trip to Hongyadong and come back by boat. I mainly used taxis to get to attractions, which was very convenient and affordable, averaging around 20 RMB per trip. There's also a mini-fridge in the room stocked with complimentary drinks.

I had a very pleasant stay at Niccolo. The high-altitude river view was the biggest highlight, and the night view was absolutely stunning. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was cozy. Yannie provided thoughtful and appropriate service. The only minor drawback was that the soundproofing was a bit poor. It was convenient to shop and dine at IFS downstairs. Overall, it's a great place for a vacation in Chongqing.

Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout. Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair. Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service.

Slept incredibly well, almost overslept and missed my check-out time! They kindly extended my stay by an hour for free 😜. The environment is also very good, with laundry and drying facilities. The service is incredibly thoughtful; they even gave me a free one-day tour since I stayed for three days. Staying here is super value for money!

Hygiene: Probably because the hotel is quite old, there's a distinct smell of aging facilities when you enter the room. Also, I had to wait over half an hour for the ice cream and Americano I ordered (and only got them after I called to chase it up), so their sense of time isn't great. The view is very good and it's quiet. Overall, for a Marriott in China, it's just average. And one last important point, I don't know what the security guard at the entrance is even there for; they never opened the car door for me, whether I was arriving or leaving.
