Hotel near The bell tower The drum tower/The Xi’an Circumvallation,Xi'an
The hotel is located in the heart of Xi'an's Central Business District, near the site of the Tang Dynasty Secretariat and adjacent to Qiaozikou Station on Metro Line 6. Public transportation is convenient: Metro Line 2 takes about 30 minutes directly to Xi'an North Railway Station and 50 minutes to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport. Shuttle services are also available upon reservation (charged by vehicle type, advance booking required). The lobby features a museum exhibition area, immersing guests in Han and Tang dynasty culture and historical ambiance from the moment they enter. Surrounded by numerous attractions and markets, the hotel offers easy access to key destinations: Zhonggulou Square is an 8-minute walk away or accessible via Metro Line 6 transferring to Line 2 at Zhonglou Station; Huimin Street (Beiyuanmen / Xiyangshi) is just a 3-minute walk away, offering vibrant local life; Xiaonanmen Morning Market (Hanguangmen) is about 10 minutes on foot, where you can experience traditional morning life in old Xi'an; Shuncheng Alley, Shuyuanmen, and Xiangzi Temple form a cultural trail within a 15-minute walk, or reachable by walking from Yongningmen Station on Metro Line 2. Dayanta and Daming Lake Night City can be reached by transferring from Metro Line 2 to Line 3 at Dayanta Station—just 20 minutes away, where you can enjoy dazzling light shows and musical fountains before strolling to the night city. Emphasizing museum-inspired design, Song-style aesthetics, Han palace elements, and Tang culture, the hotel specializes in spacious two-bedroom suites with one living room and two bathrooms. Each suite features open, airy layouts with dry-wet separation, blending ancient charm with modern comfort. On-site amenities include a meditation and scripture-copying room, tea lounge, and fitness center. Complimentary buffet breakfast and coffee afternoon tea are provided, catering to diverse needs such as family trips and cultural stays, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the thousand-year heritage of Chang'an.

"We were looking for a place to really immerse ourselves in Xi'an with our elderly parents and young children, and settling on the 'Guardians of Han and Tang Museum Holiday Mansion' was an absolute stroke of genius. The overall experience was simply amazing, truly the perfect spot for a family vacation. The location is utterly unbeatable. It's super close to Qiaozikou subway station, and you can easily walk to the Muslim Quarter and Sajinqiao Street. This made trying local snacks and visiting popular spots incredibly convenient – no hassle with transport at all. The building itself is built upon Tang Dynasty ruins, and the decor perfectly blends the elegant essence of the Han and Tang dynasties with a modern, minimalist touch. Ancient artifacts and rubbings are displayed everywhere, creating an incredible atmosphere. Whether it's the courtyards, corridors, tea rooms, or guest rooms, the settings are all steeped in ancient charm. Every photo you take here turns out like a beautifully staged shot. The room we stayed in was spacious and never felt cramped. The multi-bed layout was ideal for a family. The bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness. After a full day of sightseeing, we could just lie down and feel our fatigue melt away. Both the kids and elders slept soundly. The in-room amenities were very thoughtful, including an all-in-one washer-dryer, which made keeping clothes clean during a longer trip a breeze. The large refrigerator was great for storing local specialties and snacks, and there was a constant supply of bottled water and drinks, always convenient. The soundproofing throughout the entire building was particularly impressive; despite the bustling streets outside, closing the window brought complete silence indoors, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The public areas offered an unexpectedly rich array of facilities, covering dining, accommodation, and leisure all in one place. The daily breakfast spread was diverse, featuring many local specialties – an authentic Shaanxi breakfast that was both warming and filling. In the afternoon, they offered an exquisite afternoon tea, served with the hotel's exclusive local specialty teas, making for a delightfully relaxing experience of sipping tea and enjoying pastries. During leisure time, the elders could savor special teas in the tea room or practice calligraphy peacefully in the study room. Younger guests could work out in the gym, and there's a dedicated children's play area for kids to run around freely. If you needed to work, conference rooms were available, balancing both leisure and business. This entire residence exudes a rich cultural atmosphere of a Han and Tang museum, while also providing complete and excellent home-like facilities. It's quiet, spacious, and covers dining, entertainment, and fun – with a washer-dryer, special tea drinks, morning and afternoon tea, and ancient-style photo ops, all included. We'll definitely be back next time! 😊"

During my trip to Xi'an, I stayed at three premium hotels: The Ritz-Carlton, W, and Huaqing Palace Hot Springs. I'm very grateful they upgraded our room to a lake-view for our two-night stay, and as a Marriott member, breakfast was included for my child! The W is trendy and perfect for young people, but it's also great for families. The room was spacious, and housekeeping kept it impeccably clean. The cleaning staff were very polite. The massive balcony overlooked South Lake. Xi'an wasn't hot during our stay, so sitting on the balcony in the evenings enjoying the cool breeze was lovely, and we even saw dragon boats on the lake! The W's breakfast, as always, was outstanding—the most extensive of the three hotels. We ate so much that we could skip lunch! They offered both Chinese and Western options, with authentic Roujiamo, Biangbiang noodles, and Zun糕 (steamed rice cake). The bread selection was extensive, and the cream croissants were delicious. There were also many juice varieties. We also had the pleasure of participating in the 'Golden Peach Secret Agent' activity for kids! Staff led the children on a one-hour tour of the hotel, explaining the stories behind the decor and artwork. My child was thrilled and even showed us around afterward! We also tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant, which offered à la carte dishes and a noodle bar; the three-shrimp noodles were delicious! Getting around was easy, with taxis readily available, and it's close to the Grand Tang Everbright City. In the evening, we were given two complimentary cocktails, and the singer at the bar had a beautiful voice!

An absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel is super close to Longshouyuan subway station; you can see the hotel name right as you exit. The room was very clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. The service was also excellent; anything we requested was brought to our room quickly! The breakfast was delicious 😋 with both Chinese and Western options, and the food selection changed slightly every day! The hotel even provided a cake for my birthday! Upon check-out, they gave us a super cute cultural and creative fridge magnet as a souvenir! Overall, it was a very satisfying hotel stay!

I'd heard great things about this hotel for a while, and even though it was a bit far from where I needed to be, I still chose to stay at the Legend. It lived up to expectations and was definitely worth the price. 'Historic, elegant, and high-quality' – that pretty much sums up my overall impression. Upon check-in, they upgraded my room, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The facilities are incredibly well-maintained, indicating excellent materials, meticulous management, and careful upkeep. The off-white seating in the public areas was spotless, instantly reassuring me about the hotel's hygiene. The courtyard was smaller than I imagined, but the greenery and layout were very pleasant, especially the centuries-old trees that seemed to stand guard, inspiring a sense of reverence. The guest room was comfortably and tastefully appointed, with multiple small, opening windows – a refreshing change from the large, fashionable windows often found today – offering a more residential feel and excellent privacy for different functional areas. The breakfast was exceptional, with both a buffet and à la carte options. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and it was absolutely delicious! When I returned to the hotel around noon after my errands, they kindly extended my check-out until 2 PM. The service was delightful; they diligently helped me with my luggage both upon arrival and departure, making me feel right at home. A special thank you to Derek Yang, Jack, Andi, Leo, Eva, and others.

Our trip to Xi'an was made extra special and warm, all thanks to Judy. Before we even arrived, she proactively contacted us to confirm our needs. Hearing we had a child, she went ahead and prepared the sofa bed and even set out latex pillows. During our stay, her responses were always prompt, and she kindly helped us with a late check-out. These seemingly small gestures made us, being far from home, feel truly supported. The hotel itself also added a lot to our experience – the high-floor views were superb, the Silk Road-inspired design was very photogenic, and the Roujiamo and Zenggao for breakfast were authentically delicious. But what truly stands out the most for me is Judy's genuine warmth and kindness. Thank you, Grand Hyatt Xi'an, and even more so, thank you, Judy, for making this ancient city feel so welcoming and memorable to us.

Beautiful large hotel. Only problem - airconditioning not functioning. Metro a short walk. Bus stop outside. Good location. Quiet area. Seafood downstairs, did not eat there. Chinese next door, we did eat at was excellent ( esp the aubergine). Fruit and snacks from vendors outside. Pool is an adequate size for a short dip in the evening to help relax.

The hardware facilities are truly luxurious, and the experience even before check-in was a huge plus. Sophia called us in advance to pre-check, carefully asked about our check-in time and room preferences, and thoughtfully made commemorative key cards for us, which was a very kind gesture. The next day, after moving to the W Hotel, we could more clearly feel the difference in positioning between the two hotels: The Ritz-Carlton's overall ambiance, service pace, and spatial design are more suitable for family travel – it feels warm and unhurried. For breakfast, I highly recommend the oil-splashed noodles; they were authentically delicious and an unexpected surprise.

There were a few minor issues and misunderstandings during my last stay, but the hotel handled everything proactively and resolved the problems quickly. This time, I had more time to really experience the hotel. First off, the location is excellent, very close to the high-speed rail station, and there are malls nearby, making dining and shopping super convenient. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, actively asking about guests' needs and even offering welcome fruit. Although the hotel has been around for some years, the facilities are well-maintained and look very new. I especially want to commend how incredibly clean everything is. The housekeeping staff were very polite, always greeting me when we met. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future and recommend it to friends and family.
