Very beautiful property by the beach with magnificent bay views. Rooms are big and modern with very comfy beds and pillows. Several pools with plenty of sunloungers and extra fluffy towels. Very good quality breakfast with extensive choice, and many food options for dinner in the Agora “village” within the premises. The only issue is the service at breakfast, which is lacklustre and feels a bit chaotic.
All in all, I will recommend this hotel and will be glad to stay here again!
This is a new hotel to the region. We got a room with a sea view and really worth the money! The room had all the amenities you expected from a 5 star hotel, super clean and organised. Breakfast was rich offering a combination of traditional local tastes and a variety of international classic buffet options. Stuff was very polite, always ready to help you with a smile. Covid rules were generally implemented such as use of mask by the stuff and serving the breakfast however it would be better if they were bit stricter with guests asking also to wear the masks and be more mindful with not approaching the buffet area. Pool area was fantastic - Messinian bay view all over! We did not try the restaurant at the hotel as there is plenty of traditional taverns around! We will definitely go back!
Excellent service, but I suggest you rethink the spa pool policy in the low season. The outside pool was closed for the winter, and no point in booking a more expensive room with an attached private pool (unheated), which leaves the downstairs spa pool. Charging guests to use this for 45-minute sessions meant the pool was empty and unavailable for a spontaneous dip. Perhaps instead, you can allow a limited number of guests to use the pool at any one time.
Location: There's a well-lit path into town, but it's a LONG walk. The hotel was very helpful in arranging a taxi.
Breakfast was excellent.
Service was friendly and attentive.
Breakfast buffet was a little pricey and not included in the room price. I was not interested in the buffet, only coffee. I had to pay for a full buffet, even though I only wanted coffee because my husband had the full breakfast.
