Motel 6 Sparks, NV - Airport - Sparks

I love this hotel because the staff are wonderful people with great, and friendly personalities.

Will not stay at this hotel again. The facility is not well maintained, furniture is old and some broken. Corners of the floors were dirty, with damaged flooring. The was no dresser, there was a mini refrigerator which was sitting on a chair instead of a tabletop. The bed however was very comfortable, it was difficult to tell whether the bed linens were clean but they were wrinkled. Which can seem to go either way. The door to the outside had sturdy locks but you could see light coming in around them so, it was easy to see they didn't close properly.

Our room was not clean, damaged doors, funny smell, founf hair on bed and nails. Our towels looked dirty. Air conditioner was dirty. People outside were loud.

They gave me a key to an occupied room. Imagine what could of happened if the people were in there. Never going to this hotel.

Liked that we got a good price for the holiday. Nice room. Very soft bed. Microwave and refrigerator is nice.

Very nice person at checkin, everything went great.

When I checked in, I was informed of the water main break which I understand happens, and was told water would be off until it could be restored and no deposit this time. No prob and thank for not taking $40 only to return it in the morning. I get to my room and could tell things were not good when I opened the door and a wave of nausea overwhelmed me. The room smelled of…something idk, and was filthy. I didn’t want to say anything at first because this family has taken this property over and have done an excellent job of making it nice for travelers and a water main break is a massive problem that can be overwhelming and I’m sure they had problems. I stayed in the for several hours, hoping that the water would come back on so that I could clean up a little bit I was sweaty it smelled in there and I wanted to clean up the unit itself just a little bit. It never came back on and I got increasingly frustrated because of the fact that I was tired and stinky sweaty and it just wasn’t going so well so I called ******* and trying to get my money back so I can go to another property and that didn’t work. They offered me 2500 points but the guy said he didn’t know if that was enough for a room. The property said that they would get out in the morning to clean. It did absolutely no since I had to check out. I have to say ******* really dropped the ball here not the property. They did the best they could. They could’ve offered me my money back, but ******* could’ve made that happen .

Excellent service great staff when i need a hotel in sparks i always come to this motel 6... Because its the best motel 6 in this area.
