Central Square Heritage Hotel Reviews

The hotel is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of an old central building right in the middle of Split. About 30 minutes from airport but do note taxi can only drop you of nearby. Cost with Uber about €30 there is also bus. The rooms are clean, large and the service waste great. Lovely bed. The room has kettle and fridge which is helpful. Short walk from the harbour and sights which was nice in evening before sleep. Bed comfortable. Overall high standard feeling. Breakfast and meals can be had in surrounding area, do not lot of places wanted cash only which I found annoying and the costs of food and drink were much higher than expected. That is nothing to do with the hotel but worth mentioning as increased have been steep after introducing the Euro two years ago.

First class Hotel, perfect old town position. Perfect room facilities, mini bar, phone, tv, good internet connection. Perfect basr for seeing Split.

Great location and service but not enough bathroom facilities.

If the price is low, OK for one night.

Very nice and large room, with beautiful views on the central square. staff is extremely nice and helpful. as the hotel is very small (upper floor of the building - each floor hosts a different hotel), there is no hotel restaurant. for breakfast, you get vouchers for neighboring restaurant "bokeria", which is very nice as well. the breakfast was excellent, especially the Dalmatian poached eggs. hotel location couldn't be better - right in the center of the old town, all sights are just a 5 minute walk away. the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, but if you are travelling with heavy luggage, they can arrange to bring you very close to the hotel (by golf cart). even though centrally located, if you have the windows shut, you don't hear any noise. I can highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting the old town of Split. I hope to be able to return one day.

Heritage style hotel. Location is great Clean facilities Cons: You also have to pay for regular water in the refrigerator.

The bed is too soft, my waist can't bear it

Very textured hotel, the bath products are from L'Occitane, the room is large, the furnishings are luxurious and textured retro style, the overall look is very new, and the location is in the ancient city, a very, very, very good hotel

Wish I’d stayed longer as I’d just booked for an evening stay (late right in) and then check out in the morning, but the room was gorgeous and the staff so lovely and helpful! Definitely wish I’d stayed longer. Really great and clean and spacious room and great shower. Great central location near a lovely central square, with ease of waking to the port etc. Staff were super helpful when my flight was delayed.

DISPPPOINTED!! Loved the hotel and the location but was extremely disappointed that a refund was not applied after an incorrect date was entered on reservation. Even with error we still made another reservation with correct date and had 2 other couples join us, management would not give us break on the simple human error with many efforts to contact management via email and during our stay was ignored and not honoured in some way.

Beautiful 100 yr hotel. Amazing staff and receptionist. Very helpful and will assist with finding you parking for driver travelers (ask in advance). Love the location of this hotel. A must stay.

A nice spacious room with a big bed. The room was quiet apart from noise from the bathroom in the adjoining room. Very large shower.
