Best Western Hotel Acqua Novella

Manca l'attenzione per i particolari, quando (a giugno) si spendono 250 euro / notte solo colazione (parcheggio a parte e spiaggia a parte) nel resto d'Italia ma anche d'Europa le strutture offrono molto di piu' .

Beautiful location with wonderful view. Nice room, excellent breakfast and perfect location for those seeking tranquility and a romantic atmosphere. I recommend this hotel for a weekend, 2 nights, with breakfast.

We stayed for 4 nights to visit the Riviera di Ponente. The hotel is located right at the beginning of Spotorno, in an enchanting position, high on the Aurelia: the historic center is just over 1 km away. The hotel is accessed with an inclined lift, which takes you to the car park and then with another lift which takes you to the reception and the rooms. Our room – a standard one – was quite small and, above all, the shower was small. Luckily we are slim! I have to say, though, that this was the only minor gripe. The hotel is very beautiful, very clean and well-kept, the breakfast is superb, the staff are very kind and professional and the view you can enjoy from the breakfast room is fabulous. The moment when the sun rises from the sea, behind the island of Bergeggi, is unmissable. A tip for those staying for tourism: ask for the Tourist Card. It allows you to use all buses in the province of Savona for free: the stop is a stone's throw from the hotel. You can go as far as Andora in the West and as far as Varazze in the East. Also considering the difficulty of finding parking in the coastal towns, the bus is an excellent alternative to the car.

It is the second (and last) year that I have stayed at the best western Acqua Novella because I participate in the swimtheisland competitions and this hotel has a strategic position, being above the competition field and having a very convenient lift to reach it. We booked a superior room, 200 euros per night, nice large room with terrace, a nice sea view, so so far everything is ok. Parking, which is essential in Liguria, is excluded from the price and costs 16 euros per night. first I find that when you book a room in a 4 star hotel you get parking included and above all you don't expect 16 euros per day. Check out is at 10.00, a little early, we ask to stay until 1pm because we had the race at ten. We were aware of possibly having to pay a supplement, and we were fine with it, but they ask us for 50% of the cost of the room, 100.00 euros. in our opinion a little too much. two friends of ours, after check out, ask to leave the car in the car park, and are told NO, that after check out they have to marry her or pay the whole day, another 16.00 euros. This is why, despite it being a nice facility, in a nice location, next year I will go elsewhere.
