Travelodge St Austell

Great place to stay. Comfy rooms, and complimentary breakfast was lovely!

Lovely room, very comfortable bed, well equipped. Perfect location, situated centrally in St Austell with plenty of amenities vlise by. Very friendly staff who were extremely welcoming and told us exactly how everything worked with regards to breakfast etc.

First of all I want to commend the staff. Every member we encountered was friendly, polite and extremely helpful! A real credit! This is our 2nd stay at St Austell’s Travelodge (stayed November 2023) and we will be staying again. For us it is the perfect location as it’s only about 5-10mins away from where my brother lives. We feel very lucky that it’s so close and such an excellent stay and lovely hotel. Very clean, tidy rooms. Comfy beds and pillows. Good size rooms especially when sharing. We had 2 rooms booked for my mother, my 2 daughters and myself. We were booked into rooms opposite each other, which was fantastic. Will be again next year!

Wanted to do Eden Project parkrun for ages, got a couple of rooms for a great price in the off season. Hotel was clean and comfortable, with a café / bar so you didn't have to go anywhere else to eat if you wanted to. Very near some beaches for a nice quiet autumnal stroll and perfectly positioned for the Eden Project.

Hygiene was a problem, the food was rubbish, microwaved frozed food done by the receptionists, the surrounding area was dirty and noisy outside.

We only stayed for one night as went went to see a band at a local venue. The staff at Reception were very helpful In assisting us with booking a return taxi back to Travelodge. Polite friendly and helpful. It was clean,warm and cosy. We are going to stay again next week as we are off to see another band! We look forward to our stay. This time we will probably have breakfast.
