Excellent place very friendly staff, great location easy to walk to Fitzroy Street. Car park underground spots are a little bit tight for parking. Safe location, easy check in, lovely bottle of wine for hubby's birthday
Roamer St Kilda - formerly Selina St Kilda

Selina was one of the first hostels I've ever stayed, though the staff were friendly and welcoming which making me feel comfortable right away. I stayed there for 3 nights in a 4 bed dorm and could have stayed longer since the beds are really comfy and the curtain gives added privacy. So great staff and rooms i would definitely stay again.

My sister and I had the best time at Base St Kilda! It’s an extremely sociable hostel and we met some of our best friends here that we have continued to meet up the east coast! (The bingo is a must do!) While we had some a minor issue with our booking for an excursion with Happy Travels, it was resolved and we are super grateful for the both teams for accomodating and helping us sort it all out! Highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re solo and want to find some friends for life! Thank you Base!

My family, who knows~ University students in Mexico are still looking for a house after school starts. There is nothing to do. I booked this hotel at the last minute. The 500 RMB per night is really suitable. The night view from the balcony is really good. St Kilda is a rich area Just a short walk to the beach, really great value. Eric at the front desk is really friendly and highly recommended. Don't go to the city to live in Ibis budget or the like, not only is everything bad, but also all kinds of black female Indian front desks, to white people ”Hey!!!! How are you~~!!!” to Chinese people ”You Wait a minute” 😅, maybe I misunderstood, anyway, I understand everything 😅

Fantastic location right in the heart of St Kilda, so close to Acland st and the beach, etc. Parking is virtually impossible, but you can try. There is a carpark inside, but likely to be shared with the adjoining complexes. Rooms are decent and functional. TV reception in our family room was awful - couldn't even get free-to-air channels to work consistently. Free Wi-Fi. A huge complex with lots of rooms. Loses heaps of stars for the poor customer service at reception. The young guy charged my entire room rate and $150 bond on credit, when I clearly told him that I wanted it on EFTPOS savings to avoid the credit card surcharge. They later said that they can't charge the $150 bond via EFTPOS - almost every luxury hotel we've ever stayed at (Langham, Marriott, Sheraton, etc) are all able (and willing) to charge the bond via EFTPOS. I would've been fine paying the bond via credit, and the room rate via EFTPOS. Small thing, but the guy didn't explain anything on check-in and proceeded to charge me in a way that went against my explicit instructions to him. We would've stayed as the Ridges nearby, had it had better bedding configurations. Unless there's absolutely nothing else available, I'm sure you can find a better place.

The live situation of the accommodation is reasonable in Melbourne for such a price. The service at the front desk of the hotel is very good. The towel will be thoughtfully windy.
