Our weeks stay was absolutely wonderful. The rooms lovely, linen beautiful, rooms cleaned & clean towels everyday, was much appreciated. Lovely gardens, & settings. Your staff were wonderful, Mandy, Lucky & especially Jurie. What a wonderful man Jurie is, he advised us to keep our patio light on at night, so if the hippos appeared he would knock on the door & advise us the Hippo's are there. Friday night we were on the patio & he came passed & told us so that they were there, we all went to the pavement & had the most wonderful experience seeing the hippo on the pavement. He showed my grandkids the frogs in the water feature & the big snail. A very special person he is. Thank you all for our wonderful experience at your lodge.

The rooms were very nice, but the bathrooms could use some updating. I had clean towels brought to my room which were stained. I asked about the yoga classes, which were advertised, but not available. The grounds were nice and it is walkable into town.

Very nice spacious rooms, I had double bed, 2 bunk beds, bathroom, kitchenette with kettle/teapot, cooking rings and pots/pans. Good grounds. Handy for restaurants in St Lucia. Breakfast average, but didn't go hungry! Restaurant at hotel not fully open as off-season

Deze accommodatie ligt in in een bijzonder mooie tuin. De kamers zijn ruim en beschikken over een keukentje. Je zit op loopafstand van de hoofdstraat van St. Lucia. De woon-/slaapkamers zijn ok, maar de badkamers kunnen wel een upgrade gebruiken. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en in buffetvorm. Je kunt het buiten op het terras (met uitzicht) eten. We hebben niet in het restaurant gegeten, dus kunnen daar niets over zeggen. De bewaker is zeer vriendelijk, maakt graag een praatje en komt 's avonds op je deur kloppen (alleen als er nog ligt aan is) als er nijlpaarden in de straat lopen. Hij neemt je dan mee en zorgt dat het veilig is en blijft. Dit is echt een bijzondere ervaring.

Wir waren im July dort. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, direkt an den Wetlands gelegen mit Blick ins Grüne. Das Personal ist sehr aufgeschlossen, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Super nett ist der Besitzer, der für alle Aktivitäten Geheimtipps hat. Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen.

The unit that we stayed in needs a serious bathroom upgrade. The shower was disgusting with black mould.

St Lucia is a gem in South Africa , and the Ecolodge is the perfect place to enjoy the wonders of the wetlands. incredibly clean, smiling helpful staff, comfortable beds and good food. If youre lucky you will witness Hippos wandering through the gardens at night !

We have spend 3 nights at St Lucia, enjoying the "Feast & Beast" arrangement. We have been very glad with this choice! The lodge ans ShakaBarker tours is apparently owned by the same entrepreneur, making this an ideal combo. The pack includes a diverse set of different safaris, so you can deep dive into the different ecosystems. The guides of ShakaBarker are amazing. We have learned with each trip many new things. And the interaction with the kids was great! We were there with our family, with 2 kids (age 11 and 13). They have enjoyed the stay and safaris a lot; The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the chef/kitchen is really good! We can only recommend families. Don't hesitate to book there if you plan to visit St Lucia!
