"The place is filthy on the outside. It is unkept. Unfortunately this what you see only when you get there. The pavements are very dirty. There is rubbish lying around next to the bins. The inside of the property is lovely and comfortable but the kitchen is infested with cockroaches. There is aircon (even though you will buy coupons when what is initially loaded runs out). The toilet upstairs needs to be fixed. It was making a lot of noise which affected our sleep. I wouldn't recommend it for now. However it has great potential to be the best in its league if cleaning and fumigation is done."

There is a pool & breakfast has lots of choice but no restaurant or bar. Having said that it's 10 mins max walk to town for those things. If you want a basic, clean place for exploring iSimangaliso this works. When tourism picks up I'm sure it'll get back to being proper 4*"

"Ndiza lodge in St Lucia is a gem! We stayed for 2 nights and it was very enjoyable. The cabanas are we maintained, clean and air conditioned. The rooms also have DSTV and fast internet access. Pool facilities are also very well maintained, and cater to adults and children. Overall, definitely worth a stay if you plan to visit St Lucia. Chatted like we are locals, rooms were top notch and so comfortable even with loadsheadding..... for me the highlight was that the rooms does not have TV, don't know if its me that's old fashioned but the way it's supposed to be, making it an intimate space to connect with your other partner. Breakfast was Amazing, some restaurants could go and learn and the staff was super. Thank you so so much, Fiona and Jan and your staff, for an amazing week in St Lucia"

"We stayed here for 3 nights at short notice, there is nothing really wrong with the place but the shower still has shower curtains, we stayed in room number one which is next to the pool but very noisy next to the road, the TV screen is the same size as the computer monitor Place needs a bit of an update there are loads of other options in the area which we would prefer to stay for the same price, we would not stay again."

"We must accept that load shedding causes inconvenience.. however we had to pay extra for the use of the air con from which we did not benefit...we only stayed in the room from 3 on Sat to 6 on Sun morning... I could not sleep ..the fan barely said hello and the aircon would take at least 10 mins to switch on ..it would stay on for like 5 to 7 mins and then switch off as it was so hot I was not able to rest comfortably let alone sleep eventually we went out at like 11 at night to cool off so that we could come back and sleep ..."

"DO NOT GO HERE! First and most important thing, this place is definitely not safe. Our room had been broken into because there is a easy to open plastic lock on the windows (see photos), and they took all the valuable items while we were at the Pool, 15 meters from our room. There is no fence around this property, so anyone can get at the back of the rooms. Furthermore the staff did not seem to care, so it could have been inside information that we were away from our room for 30 min. Last: Bad breakfast and dirty smelling rooms."
