入住的時間是冬末春初，motel就在海邊，大石頭的腳下，背後stanley灣有很多海鷗，景色怡人，酒店設施齊全，有很大的海景窗户，酒店的設計十分復古，環境衞生乾淨整潔，熱水是限時供應的，早上九點半到晚上十一點。入住需要到附近的stanley hotel reception辦理拿鑰匙，晚上可以走到海邊看企鵝歸巢，很近很方便，酒店附近還有一個孤獨的咖啡廳和一個打漁的小港口，可以走過去散心
