RC Airport Rooms

Pay attention to the check in/deposit process. After check in an email should be sent and a request for a deposit. After the deposit, instructions on your room and how to get in will be sent. Other than that the come and leave as you go is nice and convenient.

It was exactly what we wanted. We arrived at 11:00pm and left to tour the city in the morning at 05:30am and it was not a problem. One thing that might help others: you'll get an email the day before you check in which contains a code that you use to open a small locker box which has your room's key. So of you're traveling, make sure you get access to your emails.

The place was good, it was also cheap for a couple. The bed was ok although pillows were not so good. Could have done with a hand towel. Risky keeping food in the fridge freezer as had a 4 pint of milk & butter went missing on day 2 of our stay, even though marked on each it belonged to our room.

With the shared living space it is ideal as self catering accommodation, rooms were spotless and up to a high standard. Next time we book we will eat in and not go to a local pub for food.

It was a bed for a night and the shower was hot and powerful, but... They put me on the top floor - 4 flights of numerous steps which was a struggle with a suitcase and arthritic hands - I think because this was the 'deluxe' room. Unfortunately if this was the 'deluxe' room, i would definitely not wish to stay in the standard room. The room was overheated as it was in the roof alcove. No fan or AC provided. The duvet was obviously a winter tog with no additional flat sheet to cater for the Sumner weather. The desk & chair were cheap plastic, so was worried the table would topple with anything heavier than an empty bag. No bath mats or bedroom floor mats. Only one small bath towel, even though it's usually standard practice to provide at least a hand towel and bath sheet for use with the shower and other ablutions. No replies to direct requests on Messaging, just the standard emails for access etc. Cheap but not cheerful in my view.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ARE OVER 25. Nothing is mentioned regarding the age limit of having to be 25+ to stay here. Payment is taken before you can see this vital piece of information. No refund is provided either. An utter joke and waste of money.

My son & his girlfriend turned up to book in yesterday as visiting Thorpe Park today. They were told that they couldnt stay due to their over 25 policy. There is nothing on the *********** site about this so they have taken their money & then they couldnt stay. Luckily they managed to find somewhere else nearby or they would have been stuck with no hotel. Absolute disgrace wasnt like they were a gang of girls or lads just a young couple. My son wants his money back scammers & will take it up with *********** & his credit card provider.

Absolute Con! I have booked to stay here in July to take my sister to Thorpe park, little did I know that she and her partner would have to be 25 or over to occupy the room. The premises asked identification of all guest which wasn’t very clear though ***********. I wasn’t aware that the accommodation was a shared bathroom with other residents. I most certainly wouldn’t have booked knowing this alone as I like my own space regarding this department. There was no option to book with a free cancellation. So I feel this is a good money maker for both RC rooms and ***********. I have contacted both RC rooms and *********** less than 24 hours after making the booking to cancel as I did not agree with their stringent terms and conditions and did not trust they would try and swindle me for deposit money. I wasn’t able to provide ID for everyone in my party, leaving me stuck moving forward. The woman from RC rooms was very rude when contacting her by phone and hung up the call. It seemed at the time that she had done this before, but looking at the reviews on trip advisor I was not wrong. Reading other reviews I can now see this property has more issues with it and I do not trust both RC rooms and *********** to assure a smooth stay and therefore will not be staying here and sadly have lost my money to RC rooms and trust to *********** I cannot stress enough to AVOID AVOID AVOID!
