"The hotel location is very good; I can even walk back to the hotel from Regent Street. However, this hotel has no air conditioning, which I was aware of before checking in. I thought the British weather would be acceptable with the window open, so it wasn't a problem. But the biggest issue is that when I opened the window, the pub downstairs was very noisy. Closing the window made it stuffy and hot. In the end, I called the staff, but they couldn't do anything about the pub located at the hotel. (P.S. I stayed on the second floor and had requested a quiet room in advance.)"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a short distance from Hyde Park. There's a supermarket conveniently located right next door, making grocery shopping a breeze. The rooms are well-equipped with a kitchen and a full set of kitchenware, perfect for preparing your own meals. A significant bonus is the washing machine with a drying function, which was incredibly useful. Highly recommended!"

"The room was quite small; with two beds, there was barely any space to move around. **Cleanliness:** This was genuinely poor. The bedsheets had visible stains and marks, and they weren't changed once during my entire 6-day stay. When the bed was made, it was obvious the duvet had been thrown on the floor, as the sheets picked up carpet fibers and hair – it was frankly disgusting. Even the drinking glasses weren't cleaned daily; I'd return after a day out to find they hadn't been replaced with fresh ones. I called the front desk, and a staff member came in, just quickly rinsed the glass by hand, and seemed to think that was perfectly acceptable."

"This is a good hotel if you're looking for a more economical stay with a good breakfast. We had a great check in experience where we had arrived early and had a short wait for an early check in. The staff were very good here helping us find a table each morning for breakfast, made an ice pack for my wife's sore foot and they have a fridge to store food items behind the front desk. The location was pretty good and it was a short walk to popular attractions like Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and Burough Market. There were a few restaurants nearby and we enjoyed grabbing quick bites at many of the nearby shops including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Amazon Fresh. There are lots of hotels in the area as well. The hotel is located about a 7 minute walk from Blackfriars station which offers Thameslink Service to Gatwick Airport and connects easily to the Elizabeth Line to go to Heathrow. It is within a 15 minute walk to Waterloo and Southwark stations and there are busses that go through the area too so it makes the city very accessible. It is worth checking out the train schedule because some trains go every 20-30 minutes instead of the frequency north of the Thames. The room was nicely appointed with a comfy bed, four pillows, a small work space, a small wardrobe, tea station, large television, and some shelving to store our things. We were transiting through London and had brought three large suitcases with us and there was plenty of space for those. The hotel is located in a quieter area and the air conditioning is very strong so we enjoyed each night's sleep. There were signs posted that they were undergoing some maintenance work during our stay in August 2025 so it was very noisy after 9:30 am in the hotel. This is a temporary issue. We felt that the housekeeping could improve because we were provided with dirty hand towels a couple of times and they did not vacuum the floor at the entrance of the room. The wifi was good and if you've set up an IHG account before you can quickly and easily log in but we found that we had to reconnect each night. The bathroom was pretty good with a nice new and clean shower. The shower was very good each night with an adjustable head, eco setting, good temperature control and tight seals to keep the water in. They have unique shampoo and body wash that are kale and parsley scented. There isn't much room to hang wet towels in the bathroom but they do have hooks in the bedroom that we used. The breakfast was good and we were happy it was included in our stay. They had all the fixings for an English breakfast with particularly good sausages and rashes of bacon. They also had yoghurt, fruit, cheese and some cereal for a lighter breakfast. The coffee machine was good for made to order options and there was a good selection of tea. You can make yourself a go bag as well and they will let you take food too. If you have dietary restrictions you can let the front desk know when you check in and they will accommodate. We had a good stay here and it fit our itinerary. Picking a hotel in London can be tricky but the price, location, and room were right for us."

"Great apt in a lovely looking crescent. About a 6 min walk to kings cross. The apt was well equipped but could have done with a couple of extra towels as I have long hair and there was only one towel each. We were in the basement apt which was very quiet the only trouble would be if you were above 6ft you may be brushing your head on the ceiling as it was quite low but we didn't have a problem with that. I would definitely stay here again."

"First off, the location is absolutely fantastic and incredibly easy to find. Most people arrive via Waterloo Underground station. After exiting, look for Exit 2 (right next to M&S). Take the escalator down, turn right, walk straight across the road for about 200 meters, and the hotel will be on your left. Big Ben and the London Eye are just a very short walk away – you can even see the London Eye from the windows! 💝Transportation: Waterloo Tube station is right there, offering effortless access to anywhere you want to go. The real highlight, though, is the extensive and affordable bus network. You can practically reach any attraction from the bus stops directly outside the hotel. Bus 188 goes east to Greenwich Observatory (passing Tower Bridge) and west to the British Museum area (Chinatown is also very close). Bus 139 takes you to Oxford Street, Bus 148 to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace, and Bus 360 to the Natural History Museum. Just remember to check the bus stand letter when boarding, as stops with the same name are often designated by different letters. 💝Food: Food options abound! You're spoiled for choice with Thai, kebab, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Pret, Tesco, and more. The fish and chips next to 'Wine Food' directly opposite the hotel are super cheap, and the Lebanese kebab place nearby is also very affordable. Places on Old Vic Street tend to be a bit pricier. It really depends on your personal preference and budget! 💝Breakfast: Haha, the classic, unchanging English breakfast! Don't dismiss it; it's seriously substantial and filling. Honestly, I stayed for 10 days and couldn't get enough of it! 💝Room: A standard twin-bedded room. It's a bit dated but perfectly clean. (Given London's prices, I found this location and the room perfectly reasonable). It would be even better if the front desk staff could smile a bit more!"

"It was lovely to stay at the Primrose Guesthouse, it was in a perfect location for going to a gig in Camden & is situated in a great part of London. Nothing was too much trouble for our host. We were able to check in early. The room was clean & had everything we needed. The full english for breakfast was delicious & plentiful. We would stay again!"

"We had a good stay, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and location was easy and close to the tube. The only thing which I feel should have been shared prior to our booking is the Townhouse is located next to/above a pub, and we happened to be in the room directly above the pub. Music is playing until midnight, the rugby was also on which I appreciate might be why the pub was extremely busy, however if you want to sleep before mid-night you might struggle. Otherwise its a good."
