MM17982****Due to a change in plans, I arrived in Haikou earlier than expected and had to find a hotel last minute. I chose this one because of its high 4.9 rating, and it exceeded my expectations! This was my first time staying in a New Chinese-style hotel. Honestly, out of the four nights I spent in hotels in Hainan, this was the only one where I got excellent sleep. I checked in quite late, arriving at the hotel at 11:00 PM, so I didn't get a chance to take photos of the room. I immediately washed up and went to bed, and I slept soundly from 12:30 AM until 11:00 AM the next morning without being disturbed at all. Unlike other hotels where I'm woken up by the noise of people passing by the door, this one was completely quiet. It might be because the room's soundproofing is excellent, or perhaps my room was further inside, but either way, I didn't hear a single sound and slept very comfortably through the night, waking up only when it was bright outside.
The hotel offered breakfast, but I overslept and missed it. Before checking out, I took some pictures of the restaurant and the hallway, which really showcase the hotel's fantastic decor. The room itself was also very spacious.
Next time I bring my child to Haikou, I'll definitely stay here again, and I've already recommended it to my friends. The young ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly! The stay experience was truly superb, full marks recommendation!

GGuest UserEven though our room was by the road, it was incredibly quiet thanks to the excellent soundproofing. The hotel was very clean and well-equipped. On our first night, I unfortunately came down with a fever, and the hotel even brought hot water up to our room, which was a really thoughtful gesture! I definitely recommend it to everyone (the gym is also very clean).

The hotel's location is super convenient with plenty of amenities nearby, and the staff were incredibly friendly towards children. We had a comfortable and worry-free stay from start to finish. The hygiene was impeccable; the room was clean and odor-free, and they even had thoughtful amenities for mothers and babies. The bed was soft enough for my child to sleep soundly. The public areas were clean and tidy, and the security was excellent, making us feel very safe. The breakfast was nutritious, with options that everyone, young and old, enjoyed. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Qin, was very attentive and even provided children's toiletries. All the staff were warm, patient, and responsive whenever we needed anything. The location is also fantastic, making it easy to get around for sightseeing and shopping. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

HHuangchengmiaomiaoThis level of value and experience is truly rare. The decor is new but there's no unpleasant odor, and the rooms are spacious with a stylish, modern Southeast Asian design. The service is also very attentive and welcoming, including one airport pick-up or drop-off service in a comfortable minivan with massage seats. There's a restaurant on the 4th floor; I ordered a two-person meal, which was delicious and great value. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure in the city, or don't want to stay by the sea on a rainy day, this is definitely a great place to stay.

NNini0703After staying at two hotels in Haikou this trip, I'm even more impressed with Meilun. First, let's talk about the location. It's very close to Qilou Old Street, within walking distance, and right next to People's Park. You can walk through the park to get to the old street. The hotel is located in Longquan Courtyard, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. You don't even have to leave the courtyard to enjoy a lot of great food, like Longquan Coconut Chicken and Xingfu Lou Laoba Tea, both local institutions. And if you cross the park, you'll find Pengji Qingbuliang and Gongjiwan Qingbuliang. The hotel facilities are also top-notch. There's a coffee shop and a kids' play area on the first floor, so parents with children don't need to leave the hotel to entertain their little ones. The breakfast on the 11th floor offers a wide variety, even braised prawns! Plus, there's a different Hainanese specialty every day. The hotel chef's chili fried pork is also delicious. The staff's service is exceptional; anything you need is delivered immediately, and there were even welcome fruits. Our room faced the park, so it was very quiet at night, and the bedding was comfortable – my parents slept soundly. The family room was very spacious. I'll definitely choose to stay here again when I come to Haikou. Brand-name chain hotels really do provide peace of mind.

The hotel lobby requires climbing stairs, so you have to leave your luggage at the bottom. There were no signs pointing to the parking lot outside. I initially drove straight into the underground garage, but the front desk staff told me to park in the outdoor second parking lot next door. Luckily, the first half hour was free, so I didn't get charged when I moved the car after checking in.
The room itself was quite unique, with a large terrace. However, it was already very hot in Haikou in early April, so we only took some photos and chatted in the evening before being bitten by mosquitoes and heading back inside.

YYadeliyatuntunhuaThe hotel is very close to Haikou East Station, just a 10-15 minute walk away. There's a direct high-speed train from Meilan Airport to Haikou East Station for only 4 RMB per trip, which saved me a lot on transportation costs. I booked this place specifically for a concert at Wuyuanhe, and I honestly felt like a genius for that decision! After the concert, I took shuttle bus line 2 (towards Haikou East Station), got off at Haikou Normal University Station, and the hotel was just a short walk away – incredibly convenient. Longhu Tianjie shopping mall is also nearby, about a ten-minute bike ride away. The mall is huge, and I had a great time exploring it!
The room was spotless, and the towels were all pristine white. There's a large, illuminated makeup mirror, which is perfect for women. The tatami area also features a small tea table, ideal for writing or working. The staff were excellent too; when they found out my electric kettle was broken, they promptly brought several replacements until we found a working one.
The breakfast selection was a bit limited; I'd suggest adding more variety. Aside from the complimentary bottled water, all other in-room beverages were carbonated drinks, which aren't very healthy. I'd suggest offering some healthier alternatives.
Overall, I was very satisfied. The value for money is excellent!

Service: The front desk staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was also good. We went for breakfast late, and there wasn't much left, but the staff kept getting us food. My first impression of the place was one of warmth and friendliness.
