Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

9.6/10
Excellent

📍Location: Located at 8 Finance Street, Central, it seamlessly connects to IFC Mall and Hong Kong Station (Airport Express Line) with direct indoor access. It's also within walking distance to the Star Ferry and Central Piers, making it extremely convenient for business, shopping, and travel. ✨Pros 1. Unbeatable Location You can access IFC Mall directly without going outdoors. The Airport Express reaches the airport in 24 minutes, and it's close to West Kowloon and Central Piers, making it a top choice for business travelers. 2. Excellent Views The sea-view rooms face north, offering direct views of Victoria Harbour and the Kowloon nightscape, with superb high-floor visibility. The heated infinity pool on the 6th floor, with its Victoria Harbour view, is a major highlight. 3. High Standard of Service Four Seasons' classic discreet service is not overly ingratiating, yet highly responsive. Guests can request different pillows and mattresses. The concierge is very capable, assisting with bookings for popular restaurants and shows. Turndown service and welcome amenities are spot on, and room cleaning is meticulous. 4. Pinnacle of Dining The hotel boasts 8 Michelin stars, with Lung King Heen (3-Michelin-starred Cantonese) and Caprice (3-Michelin-starred French) located within the hotel. Guests have an advantage in securing reservations, allowing them to enjoy star-rated cuisine without leaving the premises. 5. Comfortable Hardware Renovated in 2022, the rooms feature a sophisticated business style, comfortable bedding, and high-end bathroom fixtures. The gym, spa, and sauna are fully equipped, suitable for both leisure and business stays.

Kerry Hotel Hong Kong by Shangri-la

Before my trip, I was searching for hotels with Victoria Harbour views and stumbled upon Kerry Hotel, which had excellent reviews and great value for money. I saw that it had zero negative reviews and the sea view rooms offered a panoramic floor-to-ceiling view of the harbour. As hotel prices tend to go up during the National Day holiday, after some research, I decided Kerry Hotel offered the best value. I promptly booked a sea view room. I checked in after 10 PM, and the check-in process was seamless. The hotel lobby was absolutely stunning. Upon entering my room on the 12th floor, I was utterly captivated by the night view of Victoria Harbour – it was incredibly beautiful! Waking up the next morning and drawing the curtains to reveal the morning harbour view was even more breathtaking. Throughout my stay, I absolutely loved admiring the stunning scenery from my bedside; it truly lifted my spirits. The hotel breakfast is also highly recommended, with a wide variety of Western and Hong Kong-style options, all delicious. As a family of four, my son and daughter also enjoyed the hotel breakfast.

The hotel environment and room facilities were actually quite satisfying. However, when we first checked in and stored our luggage, there was only one staff member who seemed a bit impatient. The next day, the person who handled our luggage storage was much more pleasant. I had read reviews beforehand and knew this hotel didn't have a shower, so I specifically prepared disposable bathtub liners for soaking. Since I stayed in Macau the day before, I felt there was a difference in the service attitude of the staff between Hong Kong and Macau hotels. The staff at Grand Emperor Hotel in Macau were particularly warm and polite. Overall, for a hotel stay in Hong Kong, considering the room size, cleanliness of the facilities, and other aspects, the value for money is quite good and it's worth recommending!

We stayed here for a staycation when the hotel first opened during the pandemic and had a great experience. Returning after a few years, however, was quite disappointing. First, the cleanliness fell short of standards. As soon as we entered the room, we found long hairs left behind by the previous guest on the sofa, along with a lot of white crumbs in the sofa crevices. When I went to the pool, I found that the clean towels in the locker room smelled awful. I was going to use one to dry my hair, but as soon as it touched my hair, the smell made me want to vomit. Second, the breakfast options were extremely limited. The waffle toppings didn't even include chocolate sauce, the yogurt only came in pineapple flavor, and the other hot Chinese and Asian dishes were very monotonous. It is severely overpriced (over 400 per adult and over 200 per child). The view is still great and the staff are friendly, but the hotel management and pricing simply don't match up.

Absolutely fabulous service. Upgraded me without prompting to the partial harbour view which had a stunning sunset view. A pity i didn't have time to swim, but if you come, please bring your swimmers the pool at 73rd floor is amazing. Room was cleaned twice a day; and when they couldn't (e.g. I had a DND sign), they left a message asking me to let them know if I needed anything. Asked for water, they brought 8 cans - not 1/2/3... but 8! Asked for a bag to help carry excess mooncakes and they brought a huge one. Really pleasant great service. They gave my friends welcome drink vouchers, and the Bar gave us complimentary nuts. Thank you!

The service awareness here is excellent; every staff member I encountered would nod and smile. The turndown service attendant proactively replenished my coffee capsules and tea bags multiple times. The room size is standard for a luxury hotel in Hong Kong. The most notable design highlight in the room is undoubtedly the transparent space between the bathtub and the bedroom, which makes excellent use of the already limited space.

The butterfly pastries downstairs are a great souvenir, and hotel guests get a 15% discount. I suggest adding small paper bags that fit a single box. The shuttle service is also very helpful; it's convenient for getting to either West Kowloon or the airport. For the Liantang Port, you can take a cross-border bus to Tseung Kwan O, but you'll need to transfer to another vehicle from there. The cross-border bus for Shenzhen Bay Port goes directly.

Spacious and Modern Rooms: In the notoriously compact Hong Kong, this hotel's rooms are frequently praised for being ”spacious,” ”new,” and ”clean.” Many guests mention being able to get out of bed from three sides and fully open their suitcases, ensuring a comfortable and unconfined stay. Views and Soundproofing: Most rooms feature 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, offering excellent mountain or river views. The hotel also boasts excellent soundproofing; even during typhoons, guests report barely hearing any wind, guaranteeing a quiet and restful environment. Comprehensive Facilities: Rooms typically come equipped with a mini-fridge, electric kettle, and coffee capsule machine. The hotel also provides a communal kitchen, a 24-hour study room, a gym, a heated swimming pool, and a self-service laundry room, catering to guests' various needs.

What more could you ask for at this price and location? The hotel is just across the road from Victoria Harbour, and the Sky Pool is a must-visit – it's worth the entire room rate! Swimming while admiring Victoria Harbour is truly chill. Although the room is a bit old, the space is considered large for Hong Kong standards, and the bedding and hygiene are okay. The staff are all very friendly. There are many delicious and affordable restaurants within a two to three hundred-meter walk around the hotel. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

Although the room size is a bit small, it's generally clean and comfortable, with a great view. You can enter the hotel directly from the main stadium direction, and nearby there's a shopping mall with a wide array of shops and food, making it very convenient. The transportation is also quite accessible.
