Easy check-in and check-out. The room and bathroom was clean. I would stay here again.

Well, where do I start. Checked in and got our room assignment. Walked in to check everything out. First thing I noticed was no TV remote. When I called to ask the front desk for another remote the young man said “Are you the room who called about a bad smell and food left in a refrigerator?” This should have been my first clue. I responded no that I needed a remote for the TV. His response was “I have been looking for those and have not found any yet but if I find one I will bring it to you. Second, the room was an ADA room and had the bars in the shower, however the step from the main room into the bathroom had a gap that if you were NOT aware of or did not notice you will trip. The pool was green and unusable. Noticed a piece of gum or candy the size of a nickel pressed into the picture on the wall. We were so tired that we didn’t not notice the picture or we would have demanded a new room. I am very very shocked at the room and facility overall. Will not recommend this hotel.

Extremely nice new property, very clean, rooms are spacious, close to restaurants a block away. I don't usually write reviews but this hotel was outstanding. From my arrival, the check-in was seamless. Greeted by a super friendly, professional front desk attendant named Gisselle. She even greeted me as a Gold Bonvoy member and explained my benefits and what the property had to offer as well as went over the breakfast, gym and pool. How refreshing, most hotel front desk staff never go into such details these days. Great Job Gisselle, keep up the great work!!! I was in town for a wedding and after a long day, the bed slept very comfortably. You won't be disappointed at this property, just off of the major highway in Statesboro.

Excellent hotel, great location, awesome staff especially Giselle

The hotel was very clean. The problem was I was in my 2 Queen size beds room with 4 adults and room service only came by 1 day out of a 6 day stay. The excuse was they were under staffed. The ice machine on my floor was inoperable so I had to go to another floor. Also the front door electronic access did not work after 11PM . So then you were locked out every night and the front desk clerk when thwey did come around gave you a hard time. I did not know the hotel was a prison and I could not come and go freely.

There is no closets for clothes. The sofa was dirty. Breakfast wasn’t good. The shower gave ne problems.

When I arrived at the Springhill in Statesboro I was greeted as a gold Marriott member and welcomed by front desk clerk -Bryson. What a nice young man who should have a fabulous career with Marriott. Front desk clerk Giselle was also very helpful! I was impressed with this well run hotel. The breakfast hostess-Lesley was also very friendly and helpful. I loved the quiche and she told me it was a new item. The gym and pool area were very nice too. I will be staying here whenever in Statesboro. This is s well run hotel with happy staff and travelers.
