Service desk was helpful. Breakfast good. Slipped and fell getting out of the shower. Tub very slippery and needs a slip resistant mat inside

Unfortunately I became very sick on my trip to Statesboro. I arrived at the hotel at 11 am. I asked for an early check in and explained I was sick and needed to lay down. Front desk said no way could I have an early check in, 2 pm was the earliest possible. (I could barely hold my head up.) I offered to pay extra. She just shrugged, no, cant do that.
On top of that the $14 dollar "breakfast" was the same type of free breakfast offered at most other hotels. I was too sick to eat, had pre-paid for breakfast when making the reservation but could not get a refund.
I would not recommend this hotel at all. What an expensive waste of money. I will be visiting Statesboro 4 or 5 more times during the coming year but will never stay here again

Not much we liked about the property. The front desk staff was friendly enough but totally unhelpful. They couldn't even provide a box of tissues after housekeeping failed to replace an almost empty box. For a kid sick with a sinus infection and constantly blowing his nose, this was a problem.
The hair dryer was broken. I didn't realize it until I went to use it in the morning. I took it down to the front desk and asked for a replacement to be brought up. I stood there as they called housekeeping. We waited an hour, and no one ever showed up. We finally checked out.
The room next to ours had the TV on loudly ALL night long. That was fun.
I'd strongly recommend finding another property to stay at if you ever go to Statesboro.

I've learned the hard way the price isn't everything and started reading reviews of these bargain places. I'll pay a little more for a secure and clean facility and this hotel was wonderful. Spend a little more and get value and cleanliness for you dollars!
