The breakfast was rich and the hotel staff were very hospitable.
However, the room is relatively small, and the hotel does not have an elevator. It is really hard to carry your luggage up to the third floor by yourself.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat nicht gepasst
Die Zimmer waren ganz sauber, aber sehr altbacken, speziell die Betten. Tolle Lage und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und es wurde auf Wunsch auch nachgefüllt. Der Preis war für die Leistung recht hoch.

Einfaches Hotel in guter Lage
Die Lage des Hotels quasi mitten im lauschigen Ort Staufen ist überragend, das zahlt man aber mit. Hotel selber eher einfach, ohne Fahrstuhl, Zimmer minimalistisch, ohne Klimaanlage mit Minibadezimmer und winziger Dusche (allerdings gut Druck drauf), mein Bett hat gequietscht.
Personal war nett, allerdings die Rezeption nur bis 19h besetzt. Frühstück war ok, alles was man braucht, nett hergerichtet, allerdings Wurst und Käse wie früher nur auf Bestellung auf einem Teller (etwas schade, wenn man nicht alles mag/ isst)
Fazit: Zu teuer für das, was man bekommt

Good hotel, very nice staff
Nice hotel, friendly staff with warm rooms.
Parking is very limited and if you arrive late you have to use one of the parking places close to the hotel ( free from 19 to 9). Out of these hours hotel can provide you a free permit.
Hotel is at walking distance from several restaurants and shops.
Very nice area and busy during summer.
Recommend this hotel.

Agréable court-séjour en Forêt-Noire
Hôtel très agréable, avions 2 pièces sous le toit , style appartement et comme il faisait très chaud, pas d'air; nous avons ouvert toutes les fenêtres, mais avons du les refermer pour éviter de la casse. L'installation d'un ventilateur de plafond serait très souhaitable afin de brasser un peu l'air. Autrement tout était parfait.

Amazong place to stay in Staufen. Really near the train station and walkable everywhere. Staff is really nice and rooms are amazing.
