We have never received such a warm welcome anywhere in the world, as the one from Peter, the hospitality manager, at Mont Rochelle, in the beautiful Frannshhoek region of South Africa. He is a standout! If his enthusiasm could be bottled, it would be absolutely priceless! The hotel itself is beyond description with extensive views of the Franshhoek Mountains and top notch accommodation. My husband and I do not want to leave this little piece of paradise. There are not enough superlatives to describe the awesome location, accommodation and outstanding service. Please book with confidence - you will not be disappointed.

We had a fabulous stay - it was a wonderful way to end our holiday. Everyone at Mont Rochelle was professional, friendly and very helpful. We could not fault anything - the rooms were well appointed and very comfortable and the food was well prepared and delicious. We'd happily recommend Mon Rochelle.

My husband and I stayed for two nights at Mont Rochelle and had a simply lovely experience. We had driven from Knysna and, after navigating the beautifully scenic but winding roads, we appreciated the warm and gracious welcome from the Mont Rochelle staff. The grounds are beautiful and our room (Cabernet) had a delightful view of the vineyards. Breakfast and dinner at Miko were fabulous. We had a lot of fun on the wine tram and strolling through town. We took the hotel shuttle to the wine tram and took advantage of the beautiful weather to walk back. The staff arranged for a "private" wine tasting for us at dinner as we had run out of time earlier in the day to have the tasting at the Country Kitchen. We look forward to a return visit and will make it a longer stay!

Resort is great. The suites are very comfortable. The restaurant and food are outstanding. The snack bar in the room is very good.

Had a lovely experience staying at Mont Rochelle during our recent trip to South Africa. Our room was beautiful with a perfect terrace on which we sat drinking wine, watching the sun set. The staff could not have been more helpful in reception, the restaurants as well as the brilliant maintenance engineer who sorted out our TV so we could watch the rugby! A fabulous place to stay and a big thank you for our 40th wedding anniversary gift!

One of the best experiences I have had at a property in the Western Cape. Everything was 5 star, from the welcome, food, drinks and the property. Definitely a must do when in Cape Town.
