Sibani Lodge

My best friend and I were only able to stay for one night, but what fun. We got to see the friendly roaming Giraffee, and the tent itself was amazing. Fully equipped with everything you need and for that “escape the city” feel. The staff were phenomenal. From accommodating our early check out, preparing a take away breakfast and providing a cozy place for me to wait, the staff ensure we were well looked after. Would highly recommend. The only “down side” was not having enough time and the jacuzzi was a bit too hot so we could unfortunately not use it. However, besides this it was an awesome stay and would definitely recommend it.

We’re currently staying at Sibani and had booked the luxury cottage for 2 nights at R12,600. Although the rooms are quite nice, it’s the poorest quality food and service I’ve ever come across. The manager is inattentive as well. We paid R350 p/p for a buffet braai which turned out not to be a buffet as we could only choose two meat options and the green salad was not fresh but recycled from an event they had earlier in the day when we arrived. The wors was undercooked and the corn on the cob was old (not fresh) and we did not eat it. Breakfast the next morning was disappointing, we were told we could not have individually prepared fried eggs and were limited to scrambled eggs which neither my partner and I eat. None of the kitchen staff wear white and I could not see a chef. There were not implements in the room to start a fire and they place was full of flies. This was a complete waste of R12,600 and I’d rather drive 3+ hours to a lodge in Mpumalanga that understands quality service offering. I would under no circumstances recommend Sibani Lodge.

A peaceful place, place to connect with your Loved once,place of its own atmosphere. Best place ever.

The staff is so welcoming, they smile, helpful, But the receptionist lady was so impatient with us the day we checked in, we were late because of unforeseen circumstances and we had to pay for being late. the room i was booked at doesnt have privacy at all, when you open the sliding door, the stuff from the kitchen can easily see you. The food was great. the chef is the best, the hospitality is awesome

We had a lovely stay. The scenery is beautiful. The staff were amazing and went over and above to make sure we had a good experience. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

It was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The check-in process was seamless, even though my booking was not made directly with the hotel. The staff took the time to give us a thorough tour of the property while clearly outlining restaurant hours and amenities. The cabin was beautifully laid out, with comfortable furniture that made it feel like a home away from home. Each morning, I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of having the coffee station topped up, which set a lovely tone for the day. The amenities available were fantastic. One of the highlights of my stay was waking up to the friendly giraffe, Kira, who added a unique charm to the experience. Throughout my visit, I encountered no disturbances from other guests or staff, which contributed to an atmosphere of serenity and relaxation. The entire team was friendly and helpful, their commitment to cleanliness and maintenance was evident, making me feel comfortable and cared for during my stay.
