The environment is beautiful, with large lawns and landscapes, and the room facilities are comfortable and satisfying. There are restaurants and shops on foot, and parking is convenient

We stayed here overnight as part of a coach trip to/from the Orkneys. Room was fine, clean and spacious. Food was ok, buffet breakfast was better. A bit confusing for smokers as they have overflowing ashtrays everywhere, but you're actually only supposed to smoke in the smoking area around the back!

Excellent place to stay, lovely breakfast and evening meal, nice drink at the bar. Lovely room. Highly recommended. Plenty of room to park, and there's a lovely open space to walk next to hotel with a wealth of history around King Bruce's statue.

I visited king Robert Hotel on an organised tour with similar age group of people. Hotel was excellent in terms of quality rooms, (I needed disabled access/shower etc) Food was marvellous, high quality, plenty of it (if you visit, make sure you are hungry). Staff very friendly and helpful. Very organised at meal times. Hotel is ideally situated for touring central Scotland and further. Info on Battle of Bannockburn very interesting. Would definitely visit again.

A rather austere exterior belies the bright and spacious hotel interior. rooms were large and light. The beds were very comfortable. the restaurant had a good selection of beers and wines. The evening menu was extensive, reasonably priced and tasty. All the staff were helpful and friendly. break buffet was plentiful and enjoyable. We would have liked to stop at the hotel longer , but had to return home the same day. Definitely recommended.

The Hotel was very clean and comfortable, the food excellent, staff very efficient and courteous. Stopped there whilst going to the Tattoo and can honestly say it was the highlight of the trip. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it was 1st class. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Lovely hotel, great food and friendly, helpful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. Meals were of good quality with generous portion sizes. Bar was well stocked with a good selection of whisky to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family room was massive! Clean and very comfortable with all needs met. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Location wise is also very good since it just about the right distance away from the city Centre, so it’s peaceful yet no cut off. Extremely good value for money!

My husband was unwell and we arrived early. The staff were so accommodating and kind, allowing us to check in early, to eat in our room, even helping me to the room with our plates of food. The kindness and welcome will never be forgotten and for that this hotel is given 5 stars by me. As for the room, it was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable.

Stayed one night - mostly golfers and conference people. Liked · Located by the Bannockburn battlefield, clean and comfortable room, good friendly humorous staff. Disliked · Restaurant small and had a group booking on our one night's stay so we avoided. Breakfast buffet disappointing for the price - mediocre at best - I stuck to toast, partner had lukewarm breakfast - eggs fried only.

Good place to stay, food good, staff friendly and helpful,location good,local bus service outside hotel for travel to castle, city centre,plenty shops cafes etc. Overall enjoyable 2 night stay would return when again in area. Keep up the good work.

We arrived early for check in, which wasn't a problem for us as we were going to visit Stirling Castle. We were able to book both our dinner and breakfast before we left for our day out. The receptionist was the friendliest lady and made us feel really welcome. We arrived back around 3pm which is check in time. Our room was ready. We were celebrating a special anniversary and the hotel had very kindly upgraded us via email previous to our arrival. A bit concerned on our way to our room as the hallways looked like they needed freshened up. Our room 252 was totally immaculate! Seriously impressed. The room had everything we needed. The bed was huge. The furniture was of good quality. Plenty of plug sockets and mirrors. Bathroom was spotless. Shower good. The real star of this hotel are the staff. From reception staff (all of them). The lady behind the bar was brilliant. So friendly. All dining staff were lovely. Food was delicious. Very reasonably priced. We cannot wait to visit again! Right next to Bannockburn. The only negative would be the cosmetic appearance of the hallways. We would not hesitate to recommend this very very good 3 star hotel to anyone. The staff make this place! Thank you for such a lovely stay. We will visit again!
