Lovely lodge in beautiful surroundings. Very well equipped and lovely little touches everywhere. Cosy blankets, cushions, toiletries and coffee to name a few. Immaculate inside and out. A perfect place to stay. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Thanks very much x

This was a one-night stop-off as we drove down from Orkney to the south of England, and it worked really well for us. Straightforward to find, parking by the lodge, easy entry, a good compact layout and all the facilities we needed. Only a short drive from the Kelpies, the Falkird Wheel and the ANtonine Wall.

Stunning lodge within a riding stables in the Stirling countryside. The cottages are large, spotlessly clean, furnished with excellent taste and equipped with every comfort. Upon our arrival the owners provided us with tea and biscuits... really much appreciated... The kitchen is large, really well stocked. Outside there is a children's playground. Check-in and check-out are self-service. Absolutely recommended!!

Unfortunately only stayed the one night as a stop between Blair Drummond and the Kelpies. It was lovely, lodge was beautiful and clean. All the amenities were there and more. We stayed in no. 4. Kids loved the play park and even managed to squeeze and wee pont trek in for them in the morning 😍 We will definitely be back 10/10 👍

I would avoid at all costs.I will start with the positives.First impression on arrival it was nicely decorated but it also needed a lick of paint as the decor was also tired, the beds were comfy and where it was situated was also lovely and the dishwasher, washing machine and fridge all worked except for freezer compartment and the cooker and hob where in good working order. Negatives far out weighed the positives. The lodges were completely dog unfriendly and child unfriendly. The play area was shut off more than it was open and the dog waste bins were a hike away and dogs aren’t allowed on the grass so not sure where dogs are mean’t to go. Whilst we were there people only stayed 1 night at the most. The shower was awful as there was very little pressure and you were lucky if the trickle came out Luke warm. The floor was also very gritty so had to wash our feet before getting into bed every night.Lack of cleaning We left our very well behaved dog the first day but got a phone call from the owners that they had seen the dog out of his crate and although he said the window cleaners were there we felt that the place wasn’t our own for the 3 days we stayed as the owners were snooping around whilst you were out. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!! I don’t know how this is 4 star property,it is more like a 2 star property

We stayed in cabin 3, which was very clean, comfortable and warm on a wet weekend. Great facilities including dishwasher, washer, fridge with small freezer, microwave and oven / hob. Supply of kitchen items such as washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets included, lovely toiletries provided also. Wi-Fi included and great little enclosed park area for kids, which we used. We also visited the on site equestrian centre for a pony ride. Great location for Blair Drummond and the Kelpies. We will definitely be back, great value for a family break. Site was super quiet.

We had been there for about 30 minutes and 2 of our party had already checked to see if we could add a day on. Sadly we could not. It was clean and spacious with parking at the door. My little girl loved the park and bouncy pillow ... as did I. The added bonus of being able to book a pony ride was amazing. My little girl is desperate to go back to see chuckle.

We were looking for a place to break the journey from the Highlands, south, and this is right by the motorways and represents good value for those with kids. There were less cabins than I thought there would be (only 4) and we saw no evidence of any site presence by any staff, or reception etc, but that was fine, we didn't need anything. There's plenty of people around for the equestrian centre next door, and even on a sunny weekend they were flexible about times for taking the kids on a pony ride, even at the last minute. The cabins, whilst not luxurious, were decorated better and in more modern fashion than I thought they might be (although the double bed seemed on the smaller side). The key for the kids, though, was the jumping pillow. They loved it. The rest of the playground isn't quite as exciting (and not as exciting as some of the old pictures, so perhaps they've removed some stuff, there was no tubing for example or perhaps it only shows up in summer, not sure, there was no-one to ask). Certainly did the job for us.
