Crafoord Place Hostel

Great location and very helpful staff. The view is indescribable. I will come again and stay here. The price-benefit ratio is excellent. I recommend it.

Neat and tidy, magnificent view, super location

I loved this hostel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, it has a kitchen with all the necessary utensils to cook. It has several bathrooms, they have a hairdryer and they offer free toiletries. The owner is nice, and the star of the hostel: her dog! The vibe of the place is super good, the people are nice. There is a supermarket nearby. I recommend it.

We arrived at 11pm and would have left immediately, unfortunately the reception cannot be contacted to report some problems such as the place left completely to chaos, very dirty bathrooms, zero respect for kitchen hours and silence hours. We immediately wrote to the reception but without any success and we immediately reported at about midnight that given the conditions and the confusion, we would not have slept there the second night booked as it really would have been impossible. In the morning, after the worst night of our life in which we even had to tell security not to speak in front of our door at 5am, we reported everything to the reception and checked out, the receptionist seemed sorry and said that they had this group of Spanish people and they knew they would make a mess. He reassured us and said that he would speak to the manager to give us a refund for the second night not enjoyed. We also reported the matter to booking. After a while the manager wrote to us that he would not give us any refund because these are the things that happen in a hostel. I have traveled to many hostels in Europe and also in Sweden a couple of times and it is the first time I have to leave to avoid facing a sleepless night. To summarize: Narrow and dark place, located above a school, drafts from the windows. Cleaning not good. Reception hours and quiet hours not respected. Reception not contactable. Rooms not soundproofed. Smells of cooking all the way inside the rooms. Sheets dirty with rust. Room not clean, we even found papers under the furniture. Most of all it is impossible to sleep because all night doors slam and ****** comes from the kitchen and common areas or from people talking in the corridor. In total there are 10 rooms with 3 bathrooms.
