Very well located, clean, lovely staff. Mattress bit worn… Noisy vent system when close to the staircase, better pick a room further in. Had a pleasant stay anyway.

Had an amazing time, as always, at AtSix. This time though I really saw some amazing service from the one and only Alexandra Ruzic (Guest Relation Manager) who solved a situation that looked very dark for a while - she did an beyond amazing job. Also Amanda in the reception was fantastic and more then needed for me. I also want to mention Laura in the breakfast serving that was the best waitress I ever met. Amazing crew - amazing hotel!

Based on some work colleagues suggestions I tried the Grand hotel for my latest visit to Stockholm. Not coming back to this hotel. Having been at the Eat Hem, the Sheraton Stockholm and the Miss Clara, this Grand is at the bottom of all of them. The rooms are small, the temperature inside them is freezing and the heating system is turned off, the service is poor and the food at the restaurants is extremely average. When I asked for a recommendation for a nice place for lunch they suggested the TAK. Absolutely disgusting restaurant, old, dirty and horrible combination of Swedish and Japanese (both cuisine I love, but not in this format). Lastly, due to a change of my business plans at last minute, I asked the front desk (Ylva) for a couple of hours delay on the check out. They came back stating that, if I wanted it, I would need to pay 30% more. 2 hours for 30% of the full day rate. What a special treat! When I complained about all what was wrong during my stay, 5 minutes later they came back to offer me the 2-3 hour extension for free, once I had already come out of my room. In summary, unpleasant stay, horrible experience in an hotel situated in a special location of one of my preferred cities. What a pity!

The location is excellent, shopping and sightseeing are within walking distance; the room design has many details, the bedside table has exquisite hydroponic flowers, the bath is diptyque, and the breakfast is even more exquisite. The overall design is very Western-style, but not old-fashioned at all.

Do you like to sleep? How about have a place to put your luggage and still be able to reach the door and bathroom? If you answered yes to either of these questions I’d strongly recommend you look elsewhere or ensure you have a suite on a high floor. Our room 107 was right above the street and club playing loud techno until 1am. Diego at the front desk assured me it would end at 11pm when we checked in and asked for a quiet room. I was jetlagged and exhausted and agreed to take the room. Skip forward to 11:30pm and I’m begging the front desk to help us switch rooms. Bless the lady at the front desk on the 26th as she delivered new keys to a quiet room (thankfully they were not fully booked) and let us keep our luggage in the original room. We stumbled down the hall to our new room and fell asleep. The windows in the quiet room were facing dark lobby - great for sleep, not great in the morning to not have sunlight or privacy though. Noise aside, our room also came with the personal shampoo from a previous guest. I have no idea how housekeeping did not throw this out and replenish a new one from their hotel brand for us to use. It took not one but two calls to get shampoo so I could shower. I don’t want to have gross toiletries from previous guests in my allegedly freshly cleaned room. Lastly, the women at the front desk on the morning of Thursday the 25th promised us she’d call when our room was available. She never did and did not apologize. For the price range, fairly shocking to have such poor service. I trusted this hotel to be a special and relaxing place for us to celebrate a birthday and anniversary. It was not. 2 stars for location and 1 for the beautiful staircase/lobby.

Very old hotel The toilet seat vanity still retains wood. The location of the hotel is very good. The Old Town Nobel Museum is very close. The breakfast was quite rich and there were more business people starting to travel at 7:00. The hotel can help to set the Taxi with a fixed price of SEK545.

I always stay at Diplomat when I am in Stockholm. The welcome is very professional, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is excellent and the restaurant offers a wide ranging menu. Ill be back.

Comfortable and elegant hotel nicely located on a pedestrian street in Östermalm. Quiet room, comfortable bed, great breakfast buffet & omelets, plus marvelously helpful and welcoming hotel staff! They ordered taxis for us, made a booking for dinner in Saluhall, etc. We stayed for 3 nights.

I was pleasantly shocked how wonderful this hotel was, truly the best in Stockholm. It is located in a quiet, affluent area that is a 15-20 minute walk into the city center. The set-up is uniquely residential with exquisite furnishings and art. My Attic Suite was truly a sight to behold with wood paneling, engraved ceilings, a working fireplace, and beautiful decor. They thought of everything in the room to a clothing steamer, snacks, cold filtered water, replenished fresh flowers, etc. The food is truly delicious with a large spread for breakfast (which is never varied however). All dinners were delicious. Staff were warm, friendly and personable. Gardens immaculately maintained. A delight around every corner. This hotel is truly on to something to provide a private, homely, luxurious, personalized experience. I've never quite experienced a boutique hotel at this taste, service and luxury level. The absolute best in Stockholm, and top 10 for me in the world, which says a lot at what they have accomplished.
