Very good place to stay for its price but the room was a bit stuffy.

Not too bad for a 2 night stay. Hotel was clean, room was quite small, but warm and had ironing facilities and tea/coffee amenities.
Old hotel but kept well. Staff were friendly.
Show in room 28 had absolutely no pressure. Reported the matter but nobody came to sort it out.
Room was not cleaned. Later saw a notice saying the rooms are only cleaned upon request.
Well, that’s about it.
Oh yeah! Nice fireplace in front of reception and bus stop just outside.

For the price, which includes breakfast and free parking you really can’t complain. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are friendly, it’s clean and the breakfast was great. I would hesitate to book here again. The rooms are alittle dated but have everything needed. There is no air conditioning.

This is not a hotel it’s a B&B. I arrived very tired after a long drive to discover that all the hotel could offer me was a bed in a miserable room. No kitchen. I asked for a refund so I could find a different hotel with some service and was refused. Very poor.

We had our wedding recpetion here. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food and drinks were great. Everyone had an amazing time as we danced to music provided by a DJ. The room was well kept and the beds incredibly comfortable. Breakfeast the next morning was perfect as well.

I do understand that it is England and the weather is rarely warm but it is crazy that in 2024 there is no A/C in the room. I couldn’t sleep once in my 3 days stay. The things that save this hotel is the fact that the employees have been wonderful, the breakfast was very good and there aren’t many other hotels in the area. One more thing, how is it possible that the restaurant closes at 17:00?

Time very basic rooms, incredibly noisy (late night party affected rooms too)and hotel only provides breakfast. We’re not informed of that until we arrived and had to order in food as take away. Room was not serviced during my three day stay.

Though the Hotel is located next to a main road, traffic noise eas no real issue even leaving windows open all the time. Though it appears a bit dated room was very clean and tidy and bed very comfortable. Staff are great, obliging and helpful and the breakfasts were good. The reason I did not rate it higher is probably not the Hotels fault and due to Company's confirmation and it was the evening meals provided and choice. Cottage pie with no veg, but you could have had garlic bread, sausage rolls, samosas and dip, sandwiches & leaf salad with it or the following night Lasagne, instead of Cottage Pie with the same. I will look at returning for a personal visit though.

We had our wedding reception there and we have to say that the staff have no clue what's so ever about what there doing the drinks are over priced the rooms are very old and basic I would not recommend that place to accommodate anyone's wedding day
