Travelodge Wincanton

In a horrible retail estate, grubby outside, nice enough staff, no common areas, freeze dried coffee was off and stale somehow (must have been there years), room was not entirely clean, the extra bed was not comfy, kettle had limescale, shower design with curtain is ridiculous, there was a stain on the sheet. The main bed was decently comfy though and i slept well. My son did not though on his extra bed. I usually like travelodge, but I wasn't happy with this one. I think if I had paid a better price it would have been fine, but it was over £100 a night, which is a rip off.

We stayed here for two nights, there was three of us, and we had plenty of room, in our room. It Was clean and tidy. The pillows wasn't very nice, but that's just me being picky. Still had a good sleep. The staff was lovely, especially the lady that kindly helped my 12 year old do the door, as he couldn't do the card to get in. Loads of parking. And lots of different places to eat. We had a great time away. Will look at definitely going back.

An wonderful visit from Thursday 12th to 13th Sept. We arrived after 5pm and greeted by Nicci who was lovely. The room which was absolutely spotless and housekeeping did a fantastic job. (I would have loved to thank the person who cleaned the room and say well done.) Truly this was the best Travelodge I've been in as it was so so so quiet. Not a peep! I hope I can request the same room 218 as it was perfect. I've been in lots for work and this one was outstanding. I must say a massive thank you to Nicci and Seonaid who made the visit, so welcoming, friendly, caring and went above to really make us feel at home. Both of you are a credit to the company. We only stayed the night but we will most certainly be back and we'll make this our regular hotel.

Clean and tidy room. Good value for money. Bed very comfortable and all essentials provided. Will definitely use again

This is an excellent Travelodge which we have used several times. Rooms are spotless and comfortable and we always have a good nights sleep. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great location, very good service and as always does what it says in the tin. The reception was very friendly too.

Hotel, clean and basic, breakfast supplied next door at several places, Local pub or Supermarket(2min walk).. Staff very helpful, above and beyond.. thankyou Nicci.. staff where able to help me out of a sticky situation involving my transport issues.. they mangaged to get me on my way again.

The bed covers in our room were dirty / mouldy. The replacement we were given was also stained. By this point we just didn't use the covers are were glad to get out the following morning. There was no one on reception to bring up the issues when checking out. We very rarely use Travelodge and won't be again
