Breakfast not available
The hotel is good. Service good. Parking good. Evening meal good Room traffic noise at night.
Disappointed states breakfast 7am. No one at kitchen. No staff in hotel at 7am.

Our Friendship Club had our annual Christmas dinner at the George and cannot complement the staff enough. There were 43 of us and the food was so good, came out piping hot, on time and each table served individually. Our members enjoyed it so much they asked the chef to come to the restaurant to thank him!!!, will definitely be back next year 🌲😀xx

An excellent 2 night stay, lovely accommodation and restaurant offering very good evening meals and first class breakfast options. The only niggle would be the vanity sink in what was an exceptionally large and well appointed wet room. Would definitely stay again

Checking in was a little haphazard, it needs to be made clearer where you go to get it sorted. The staff were very polite though and the breakfast was very convenient in terms of both timings and the spacious dining area. There's a very broad menu which is even better.

Welcomed by Gary who showed us to our room, he was very informative and helpful as were all of the members of staff we came into contact with. The food was excellent both evening meal and breakfast. The room was in the courtyard and very clean and well equipped. We would certainly recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Great Pub vibe, staff are all friendly and helpful. food is fantastic, rooms have everything you need and at a reasonable price definitely recommend 👌

Lovely room
The room was well proportioned, neat and clean.
Bathroom was a great size.
Fridge had complinentary milk for tea and coffee , also bottles of water which was very welcome.
Bed was very comfy with a good view of the tv which offered netflix
