Rooms were nice, to problem there, night time activity was the problem, knocking on doors all night, fights outside all night, loud talking running up and down stairs all night, no management on site, just not a family oriented place to stay, price is not what they advertise it is higher when you get final bill

Affordable Suites was a perfect option during my North Carolina road trip, in which I really wanted the option of a full kitchen... Check-in was a breeze, the area was safe (albeit not particularly central) and the room was large, clean and comfortable. Helpful tip: Fred's Food Club is a block away, for cheapo groceries... Obviously, from the pics, the inn is a bit dated in its finishes... but knowing this, you get what you pay for... and the pricing is certainly within reason. I was a bit bummed that there is no ice machine on the premises... while the icemaker in the room did not function... Also a little weird to be asked to take my own trash out... but these are tiny complaints. I had a GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Family stay (not teens but adult son). Nice layout with bedroom area in the back (no door) . Kitchen with stove, sink, apartment size fridge (but it was freezing some of our food), and equipped with basic utensils, dishes, etc. Great location...near Walmart, Planet Fitness, Christ Fellowship Church (is an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church with friendly folks). Room shows aging and a fair amount of stains on floors. Not great water pressure in shower. Had sleeper sofa and table/chairs in living area. Worked well for 3 people. Room keys kept failing and had to be replaced. Reasonable price. No breakfast. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

We stayed here overnight with our dog. Everything was very clean. Room had no odor, even though it was a designated pet room. Price was 40% less than the other hotels for a Saturday. I called to book as online said 2 night stay min. Manager was very accommodating and it was no problem to stay one night. Furniture was older and could use an update, but mattress was very comfortable. Room was dimly lit and could have used brighter bulbs or more lights with a charging station on the nightstand for our phones. TVs were very small for the size of the rooms, not smart TVs so no streaming. A TV guide with channels would have been helpful and the TV in the bedroom had no remote, so we had to change channels manually on the bottom of the TV set. AC was excellent. All rooms had individual units outside the windows on the bottom floor. Large fridge and full freezer was helpful. Bathroom was clean, although there was no vanity to put your stuff on, just a sink. No dog bags, so please bring your own so that property remains clean. A five minute drive to Olive Garden and other popular chain restaurants. Overall, a no frills, clean, reasonably priced place to stay with your pup. We would stay again. Many thanks.

As frequent travelers, we have experienced the usual ups and downs of various hotel chains. About two years ago we booked this hotel and had a “terrible” one star experience. We were convinced by the many many positive reviews to try it again for two nights this week. Our five star experience began with the clear and complete communication from Manager Steve within one day after booking. The communication continued and was customized as we expressed our priorities and needs ie we mentioned we were coming in after the office closed and he offered to leave a brochure in our room with a list of restaurants if we needed dinner. Because of the hours of the office, there are some self check in steps you have to take and those were explained and supported with reminder calls so we wouldn’t have any problems The suite was generous in size and wonderfully clean. The pictures posted by other reviewers accurately show you the suite we were in. The price very reasonable. Friendly helpful staff, generous sized suites, immaculately clean rooms, comfortable beds, no bugs, reasonable rates, easy load and unloading access- We look forward to staying there again. Note: lots reviews talk about a rude woman in the office who customers interacted with. Two years ago, we did too and she was awful. When asked, the current manager explained she no longer works for the hotel and has moved on.

I tried this for the first time because the pictures looked better than the place I used to use when visiting Rocky Mount. It was not only cheaper, but much nicer than the other place. The rooms (stayed there twice) were clean, nice, and large. If something like a piece of molding not adhered right, or something small like that bothers you, then pay more and stay someplace else. It isn't the Ritz-Carlton - but that isn't what I wanted in Rocky Mount. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. There are places to eat and shop in shopping areas about a mile from the motel. I will definitely book them again from now on when I have reason to need a place to sleep in Rocky Mount!!!

I was looking forward to another stay here on my way from CT to FL. I feel like this place is like a home away from home. The manager Nick couldn't be nicer and made my visit another 5 star stay. The suite is exceptionally clean which is most important to me and the bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. I'll definitely stop here on my way back. -Glen

This facility provides extended-stay units with all the amenities you will need. Nick, the general manager, provides excellent customer service, and I recommend calling him once you have booked. The area is quiet, with easy access to highways 64 and 95.
