Arrived at the hotel and went to reception. There was no greeting by the person on reception and did not feel welcomed at all. I was told to sign some of paper. Was not asked if I had a car but found a section to enter my car registration. We waited as the person at reception was also serving someone else which we felt was rude. We got given our key and told our room was room 5. There was no mention of breakfast time or if we wanted to book breakfast our wanted breakfast. We managed to find our room, typically we would have been told where to go. We go into the room and there was a nock. The person asked if she had checked us in just which she had. We felt like we had definitely not been acknowledged by the reception. They had the wrong Brookes checked into the and she moved use to room 7. On entering the room, the room smelt damp which was not great. We were going to ask if we wanted to move but did not want to run the risk of a worse room. Had a shower in the morning and the tap handle fell off. The shower head was not clean, black with mouldy and grime. The shampoo holders were covered with grime, the bathroom fan did not work great and was difficult to close and open the bathroom door due to the floor not being level from water damage. Went to breakfast and was difficult to find the entrance to the place. Ordered two eggs and was given the option and had fried egg. I immediately had some of the egg. The eggs were cold and were like rubber. I could only just managed the one as they were horrible. With natural light, the room was thick in dust around the edge of the carpet and not as clean as I would have expected. The room was very hot and uncomfortable, the window could not be opened and with the cooling on, the cloths in the room felt cold and wet. Our room was also not made up which is not what I would have expected. My partner also ended up having a rash for some reason and had not used any new products so can only assume this was due to the room.

Although the room was clean there was a distinct smell of dampness in the room and was very unpleasant. Ground floor room 7. The tea/coffee facility was as expected. Bed was comfortable with fresh clean linen. Clean bathroom wit overbath and curtain. Towels were clean and fresh.

We were staying in Stourbridge for a sad occasion but the kindness shown by staff (especially in the restaurant) was exceptional. They were friendly, helpful and did not rush us out when they could see we were catching up with family we hadn’t seen for some time. The hotel on the whole is good - clean, reasonable facilities and excellent comfy beds.

The pillows are the fluffiest I've ever seen. Stay gyn free. Wonderful experience to chill and think at peace. Good saunas too. U can bring all family and even ur girlfriends. I wonder what the special is today as I am game for a dae of surprises.

I have stayed many times at this hotel but standard's are dropping. I spent 3 nights there and first noticed a musky smell in the room and headboard of the bed dirty. Had problems with room key on all three days and there was others with the same problem. I have tried ringing the hotel several time before I went and not much luck. They have got shot of Brewers Fayre who run the restaurant and doing it there selves. The restaurant was close on the Sunday evening so I had to find a alternative restraunt. Probably got no staff available. I will probably not bother with this hotel again as there's better run hotels elsewhere.

What a complete nightmare.. We booked the meal deal, only to arrive and find out the restaurant was closed, we'll I'm only a phone call away to let us know, or even a email.. but absolutely nothing. Then we asked about booking a extra night and using the meal deal the next night. Was told £55, then 10 minutes later it became £96. Reception staff were so unhelpful and not really bothered. Waiting to see if the refund arrives in my bank for the meal deal.. not very confident it will. In the double room, we had one towel for 2 people.. this premier inn is by far the worse we've every used. However on a positive note the breakfast was decent and the staff in the restaurant we're very helpful, helping the wife with allergy advice.

The keys were not working on Saturday 14th of September - so security were having to run around and open people's doors. Additionally, the bedrooms were actually filthy. I always stay in Premier Inns, because they are reliable and usually to a high standard! The shower head had orange and black slime coming off it, there was hair all over the toilet seat, the room was extremely dusty, and there was one towel for a two-person bedroom. There was also not sufficient toilet roll, so mid-stay had to request for more. Overall I would never ever recommend this Premier Inn.

Found this hotel what we expected for the price. Location excellent for visiting local attractions. Our room was at the back of the hotel so very quiet. Good standard of cleanliness. Had the meal deal. Dinner what expected from a former Brewers Fayre restaurant. Breakfast again what expected. All staff in the restaurant were hardworking and friendly. Keen to serve you. No problems checking in.

The hotel was what I expected for a budget accommodation and compared to other Inns stayed in was not quite so good as previous experiences. However the staff, particularly the night manager were very good, especially in a time of emergency during the early hours of the morning.
