Stayed at the hotel for its close proximity to the Cairnryan Port due to an early ferry departure the following morning. We had a comfortable room fit for our needs, with ample space for the family. There is a car park onsite. We arrived late and left early, so weren't able to use the facilities, but the areas we did see were well presented. They were kindly able to arrange a takeaway breakfast for us, as we were leaving before breakfast was served.

This hotel is old fashioned, it has old decor, a curling rink, swimming pool and my children lived staying here. Beware breakfast is served until 9.45am and they have cleared the buffet away by 10am so you have little time to actually eat.

We had one night at this hotel before ordering a ferry to go to Northern Ireland. It is an old-fashioned hotel and it was lovely. The beds were comfortable. The wet room was perfect. We had a meal in the hotel. The staff were really good detective but not obtrusive. The food was good and I would recommend this hotel.

Didn’t pay attention to the detail saying they allow pets. Woken up by several barking dogs in room opposite.

We didn't realise until 8.00AM on our first morning that the hotel allowed dogs. They started howling when their owners went for breakfast. On checking it appears that dogs are allowed in ALL rooms (no rooms set aside for pets)

Superb value for money hotel with gym, pool & sauna. Located only 10 minutes drive from both Stena Line and P & O. Quality of food is excellent, consistent and beautifully presented. Staff are well trained and very professional. The dining room is well laid-out with proper tablecloth and napkins. Rachel was particularly attentive and pleasant.
