I stayed there two nights in June because I had an interview in Strasbourg. The staff was very nice and allowed me to be less stressed out. Thank you to Emilie, Raphaël and Melissa ! See you soon ! Maël

Overall: 6/10 Staff: 9/10 Price: 8/10 Location (to sights): 8/10 Transit: 8/10 Room: 6/10 Common Areas: 6/10 Restaurant/ Bar: 9/10 Vibe (community): n/a Really enjoyed my stay at other hostels from this company and this one should have been just as good but there’s some things i just can’t put aside… First off, the hostel is dirty. Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

Poor first impressions as this is on the edge of an industrial estate with factories front and back. But we needed accommodation with somewhere to park the car and we found a space on the street right outside the front door for free.(we didn't know there was secure parking available at the hotel). Friendly, efficient check in from Jeremy. Clean spacious seating and breakfast areas which we didn't use. The room is clean and well equipped and OK for one or 2 nights. The bathroom and kitchenette are small, the bedroom compact with wardrobe space and a comfortable bed. It was VERY hot while we were there so had the window fully open at night. Unfortunately at midnight on Saturday a rave started in the unit immediately behind with very loud music until 5am when they left shouting and slamming car doors. On Monday morning at 8am the factory behind started up what sounded like a hovercraft in our room which went on for about an hour. Maybe if you came in winter and didn't open the curtains or window it might not be so bad. On the plus side we really liked Strasbourg and this location is very convenient for the tram which takes just 10 mins into the centre.

The location is quite good. In a calm area and just 20 minutes to the center by public transportation. There is Super U supermarket nearby so it’s very convenient. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. However they could improve by providing bottle of water in the room which is an usual practise in every hotel. There wasn’t fridge inside the room. The bed was comfortable but the pillow was quite hard and thick. I had pain in my neck the day after. Anyway was good overall

Only positive point of this hotel: a very friendly welcome both day and night. Otherwise: Old-fashioned rooms, without double glazing although located against a ring road. Avoid rooms ending in 13 to 17. The electronic lock of my room not working, despite a report made, was never repaired. It was necessary that each time the person of the reception comes to open me with his key. Practical… Some pillows and mattresses are completely smashed. The condition of the furniture is obviously not a priority. Colleagues had cockroaches in their rooms, some had immense difficulty switching from ”tap” mode to ”shower” mode via the selector that had to be lifted. There was even a room with the impossibility of switching to shower mode. Not very nice when you come back from a huge day of work at midnight. My toilets were dirty (see photo) and the toilet seat clip was broken. As for the breakfast, it is minimalist and of fairly average quality. I was lucky to have baguettes the first morning, then only tiny thawed rolls the next two (at 8am). Only one choice of tea: low-end yellow Lipton. Finally, it is unpleasant to be woken up early in the morning by the team of gardeners forcefully using their noisy tools such as hedge trimmers, blowers and other mowers.

I had made a reservation to spend one night at this hotel with my family (wife and two children). We needed two rooms for the four of us. We were expecting simplicity - but definitely not filthiness. When we got there, we found that on both rooms the floor was visibly dirty, the bed linen had body hair on it and the air in the rooms had a terrible stench. Honestly, it was a highly unhealthy environment. There wasn't even soap available in the shower room! We returned the keys, left the hotel, booked rooms in a different hotel and are now fighting to get our money back from Premiere Classe Strasbourg Ouest - we should really demand compensation as we had only a few hours to enjoy in this wonderful city and a couple of them were spent dealing with this. Still, I am happy we left - we would have woken up with some respiratory disease or skin rash at the minimum the following day. Stay away from this place!

It was our first visit just some days ago in the Chateau de L'ile and we will surely stay here again if we visit the area again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole place seemed to be quite out of time and space in a positive way. Very quiet inmidst a park and close to the river yet close to the tramway (7 min walk) to go into the city of Strasbourg. The breakfast was very good for France, witth variety of sausages, eggs, cheese and salmon as well as youghurt, jam, sweet things, cereal. Breakfast until 10:30 a.m. was also very much appreciated;-) The rooms were tidy and clean and there was even a refrigerator. Bathroom with shower and bathtub and all amenities. Check out until 12:00 a.m. is also very nice for vacationers like us. We did not eat in the Restaurant this time but heard from other guests that it is very good. The only thing which we didn't like is that we could not open the window in the night due to many moskitos. Which was a pity as the air outside was so fresh and cooling. However they told us at check-out they will have a solution for that very soon.

We were in family at 12 and gave us a fantastic Christmas buffet at the Best Western of Dorlisheim. It's really one of the best in the region Whatever the freshness and diversity of the proposed sets, the presentation, the welcome, everything was perfect. The fat liver was suckle, salmon, oysters, all the original and more delicious entries each other, the beef with fungi, gratin and a lot of desserts. Excellent price quality ratio Thanks! We will return 😋

ne of the best, cleanest, tidiest and stuff-friendly hotels I've been to! The hotel looks like new. Everything is very clean. The rooms are big (we stayed in a double-bed room), very well designed and structured and one of the most useful details not seen in most hotels is the bench for suitcases so that you may take out your personal belongings without bending. Very well thought! The breakfast was so good that I didn't have to eat until late afternoon 🙂 The location is perfect for anyone, especially for travellers because it's not far from the highway. The room insulation is excellent as well. I had the privilege to meet the owner and had a nice chat with him. I cannot highly recommend the hotel! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
